Through August 31st, 2025, parents or teachers can score a free National Parks Annual Pass for their 4th graders in the 2024-2025 school year through the Every Kid Outdoors Program. This free pass is also valid for homeschooling kids, all children under 16 in the group, and up to three accompanying adults.
How to Get and Use Your FREE 4th Grader Annual Pass
All you have to do is head over here and tap the âGet Your Passâ button, then, answer a few questions. You’ll then get a voucher that allows you a free pass to national parks, forests, wildlife refuges, and more. Even sweeter, you can use the free pass as often as possible! Get your voucher here!
You must have a physical voucher to get free access to the parks. Just make sure to show the ranger the voucher you have printed out when you arrive, and they’ll give you the actual pass. With your 4th grader’s FREE Pass, your family can get free access to sites managed by these seven federal agencies participating in the Every Kid Outdoors Program:
- U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service
- U.S. Forest Service
- National Park Service
- U.S. Bureau of Land Management
- U.S. Bureau of Reclamation
- National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration
- U.S. Army Corps of Engineers
