Attention, Amazon shoppers! There was an update that Amazon has quietly raised the minimum spending requirement for free shipping. Instead of $25, it’s now $35 for some customers. This doesn’t affect Prime members, though.
Right now, this change seems to be for specific locations. For example, in Seattle (where Amazon’s HQ is), the minimum remains $25, but in nearby Bellevue, non-Prime members now need to spend $35 for free shipping. Keep an eye out for any further changes and make sure to plan your orders accordingly!
I’ve noticed that raise this past week.
I got on to make 2 separate purchases and ended up buying different items local instead.
That’s going to lessen my shopping on Amazon, sadly.
