• Amazon Prime Prices are Going Up 😱 (Lock in Current Price!)

Amazon just announced price increases for their Prime membership plans. The updated pricing will apply to Prime sign-ups starting on February 18, 2022. This means that the yearly membership will increase from $119 to $139/year, and the monthly membership from $12.99 to $14.99/month.

For Prime Student members, the price of the monthly membership will increase from $6.49 to $7.49/month, and the price of the annual membership will increase from $59 to $69/year while qualifying EBT and government assistance recipients membership price will increase from $5.99 to $6.99/month.

Would you renew at this rate?

Note that for current Prime members, the new prices will apply after March 25, 2022, on the date of their next renewal.

How To Skip The Price Increase?

Fortunately, we found an awesome way to keep the same price for at least another year even after the increase! You need to be quick since you can only do it before February 18th. See steps below:

    • Buy yourself an annual Prime Gift Membership
    • Go to the Prime membership plans to disable auto-renew
    • Click ‘Manage Membership’
    • Click ‘End Membership’
(Opt to click on ‘Keep My Benefits’ to keep your Prime membership in effect until it expires)
    • Once your membership expires, just apply the Gift Membership to your account and get another full year of Prime for just $119!

It is still a savings if you shop Amazon much. Yes I would.

You can buy gift memberships, and use them for yourself at a later time.

      Gift memberships don’t expire. 😊

      I will keep it

I use prime a lot, many things on subscribe and save that I find on Amazon for far cheaper in store or other sites. So an extra 2 dollars a month (24 dollars a year) isn’t much of an increase to make me want to walk away from the membership.

love this, great idea. i6 just bought my gift membership and use my gift membership when the current one ends!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️

I wish that I could take advantage of getting another year at the same price but I have to pay by the month due to living on a fixed income and my husband’s medical bills are so outrageously expensive that I don’t $119 extra to spend. When you live month to month there’s nothing extra for anything including emergencies. I only use it for the free shipping. I don’t get any other benefits even “Prime Day” specials or Black Friday specials because there’s no extra money. This will make it harder for me each month. 😟☹️

      I would keep it!

I love Amazon, but do they really need the money that bad? We are the ones who made Bezo a billionaire. Sorry, it’s just aggravating.

It’s convenient and we love it so we will pay…
