Hi What size are these kids hooded towels for $7.99?

Soā€¦. Strange- trust me I knowā€¦ I bought AirPods brand new from Amazon in November to give to my daughter for Christmas. I accidentally brought them to the Apple store to be fixed because I have another pair and basically I switched them, and when they looked at the serial number and the AirPods which were in the correct case- the Apple employee told me they were fake ā€”- so I called Amazon and I tried to tell them I have a piece of paper from Apple that states that, although Apple is the people who sold you the AirPods there now also telling me that the AirPods are fake and Amazon told me that if I hadnā€™t waited so long to tell them they mightā€™ve been able to do something.
I just wanna be very clear here that I didnā€™t just sit around laughing to myself from November until April knowing that they were fake ā€” I had absolutely no idea. Unfortunately, Amazon just kept repeating to me that because I chose to wait past 30 days. (Which is the only amount of time theyā€™ll give you to realize anything is fake and to receive a refund or replacement.)ā€¦ there was nothing they could do for me. I shouldā€™ve told them sooner. Sooo ā€¦ just thought Iā€™d share that little story šŸ¤” I am not the type of person who complains about Amazon because I buy almost everything there.. and I did find out it is possible that Apple could have unknowingly sold Amazon fake AirPods, who would then unknowingly sell them to meā€¦ which if they didnā€™t know in the 30 days they had the AirPods in their possession that they were fake- Iā€™m not really sure why they thought I didnā€™t know and also just decided to sit on it and only ā€œget honestā€ months later in April.

Needless to say, even with written proof from Apple themselves- Amazon will do nothing except they did tell me I could ship them if I can make my own shipping label because they donā€™t know how and when I said I can definitely ship them to you! No prob! Haha ummā€¦ only after another series of questions that I find out that I can ship them back to Amazon with my own shipping label just like I could ship them to Santa but it doesnā€™t mean they plan on doing anything about it all because in fact, they didnā€™t.. againā€¦. Bc I didnā€™t let them know they were fake w in 30 days of purchase. They also didnā€™t understand why I would want to even replace or refund them because if I could still listen to music, then why didnā€™t matterā€¦ā€¦ Iā€™ll just stop there because Iā€™ve had the same conversation with them now for four days in a row. Lol again I donā€™t complain about hardly anything but thereā€™s just something about that entire situation that idk- I feel the responsibility to share, because I bought the same AirPods from the same place for the same priceā€¦.
Not in 1 million years would I think that I would ever run into a situation like this

Oh no! I’m very sorry to hear about your experience. That is strange, tho. The listing is from the Apple Store’s official Amazon page. It isn’t sold by a third-party seller either which personally are the two important things I check for the product’s authenticity whenever I buy something off at Amazon. But thank you so much for sharing your honest experience here in our community, really appreciate it!

        • I know right?! Those because itā€™s not like it was just some random person who said they were selling Apple it was the actual store selling through a pretty another large companyā€¦ but the employee at Apple said someone could have returned it and put in a fake one but since they do this basically for a living, no one would know (hence my point of how ridiculous it is to think I would know.) It comes up on the apple/check warranty site and everything bc I guess they steal or clone other Imei or s/nā€¦ see- Iā€™m not even sure which, because I am really not tech savvyā€¦. Itā€™s hard for me to post a picture on instagram! šŸ˜‚
The thing though that Iā€™m confused about is that it was still sealedā€¦. So- that would either mean Amazon got it back and then they resealed it or the person returned it after they resealed it and just stated that they never over there and they change their mind- which sounds more likely than the first option. However, Amazon does not appear to be the same company that they were back 10 years ago before Customer Service just became reading from a script based on key words you say (like over 30 days lol) and not people who actually want to help you. The whole thing about the Customer Service and asking to speak with a supervisor. Just really blows my mind though because THE ANSWER never changes- it is so bizarre. If you called her right now and you ask somebody if you can return some thing or ask them any question where their answers something you would normally want to speak with a supervisor aboutā€¦. No matter which way you ask or how nice you are or who youā€™re talking toā€”- at least in my experience with the last 10 to 12 customer service representatives I have askedā€” their response is always, ā€œMY SUPERVISOR AGREES WITH ME.ā€ Sometimes theyā€™ll ask you why and then theyā€™ll say that everybody agrees with them or theyā€™ll tell you the supervisor agrees with me and then you say that you still want to speak with them and theyā€™ll tell you theyā€™re right behind them listening and they agree with them or anything like that the answer will always be basically that the supervisor almost doesnā€™t existā€¦.. I wish I had supervisors that ALWAYS AGREED W ME- even before I asked them anything lol
Iā€™ve been dealing with this situation since I canā€™t even tell you want but itā€™s day and night and so Iā€™ve spoken to quite a few customer service agents. Just waiting for the right one thatā€™s going to tell me everything will be OK and that Iā€™m not a liar. ā€¦. the only real mystery Iā€™ve solved is this constant approval of all and any comments made to you by the representativeā€™s supervisor.
Iā€™ve been a customer there since before 2003 and used to sell (under my parents name w their help of course) in HS- so that is a LONG TIME to be a loyal customer and then be told your a lying procrastinator over and over again. I mean, at this point- the constant round of ā€œbut do they work?ā€ And ā€œif you hadnā€™t waited so long to tell us ā€¦ā€ is almost funny. Only bc if it wasnā€™t, at this point I would have probably launched this laptop out of my window by now haha

I know right, Amazon and other big retailers are now so much automated in their customer service. But I still can get to talk to a human and get them to help me when I need help. Also, thank you for clarifying the issue with the air pods. Hope you can return them and get a nice original pair for your daughter.
