Apple is offering replacements for AirPods Pro that were manufactured before October 2020. If you have purchased AirPods Pro and you encountered static sounds and active noise cancellation feature is not responding. Apple and Apple Authorized Service providers are issuing replacements for the affected AirPods Pro (left, right, or both) free of charge! This doesn’t include the AirPods Pro case as it wasn’t affected. Check for more details here.
Please note that this worldwide Apple program doesn’t extend the standard warranty coverage of AirPods Pro. No other AirPods models are part of this program.

Just made my appointment!! Thank you
Yay! Glad to hear you got it!
I was able to replace mine last year with this plan!
Sweet! So happy to hear you got yours!
Just made my appointment for tomorrow. I hope they’re eligible!!
I’m glad to hear that Sue! Hope you score this deal!
I was so excited for this, but after talking to Apple, they told me I was NOT qualified (despite having the exact issue which would qualify me for both earbuds). They said my device was manufactured in April 2020, so I was outside the eligible window for a replacement. What sucks the most…I didn’t purchase them until June…& didn’t open & activate them until Aug. 20th 2020. That means TODAY marked 3 years since I first used them & they still said I was over the 3 year timeframe! They offered me nothing but a phone call to re-explain why I wouldn’t be helped.
Thanks!
You’re welcome!
I have this issue and when I went to Apple they told me my AirPods were defective however it didn’t qualify for the free replacement due to my serial number. Then they offered me a replacement at $80 each ear bud. Better off just buying a new pair during a sale
Same here. So frustrating!
I’m going for my appointment tomorrow 🔥. I ain’t gone lie mines been doing the same as most on here high pitch noise was a blow. It only really did it when below 50% either way tho they getting replaced for free no complaints on this end 😆 FR
Worst decision , after that my AirPods were never the same. It charges only one side
These messed up my ears so bad. Good luck.
I took my AirPods in for service because they had a bad high pitch noise when you would speak. Both EarPods were defective and got both replaced for free. Only down fall they are only covered for additional coverage for 3 months. After that you would have to buy new ones. I can’t complain I’ve had my AirPods for just about 3 years now. So happy they were replaced for FREE 😊
Thank you so much for sharing this with the community!
Too bad it won’t work for other models like generation 2.
Oh no! So sorry to hear that!
