Apple is offering replacements for AirPods Pro that were manufactured before October 2020. If you have purchased AirPods Pro and you encountered static sounds and active noise cancellation feature is not responding. Apple and Apple Authorized Service providers are issuing replacements for the affected AirPods Pro (left, right, or both) free of charge! This doesn’t include the AirPods Pro case as it wasn’t affected. Check for more details here.
Please note that this worldwide Apple program doesn’t extend the standard warranty coverage of AirPods Pro. No other AirPods models are part of this program.
How to get your AirPods Pro replaced
- Find an Apple Authorized Service Provider.
- Make an appointment at an Apple Retail Store.
- Contact Apple Support.

I had mine replaced and the new ones started doing the same thing. They would not replace the second pair because they only cover them for 90 days, it have been 101 days.

I had problems with mine for a long time, the right size had static and I took them to the store to have them checked even when I knew my warranty had expired, they checked them and replaced the 2 AirPods too, that was a few months back, they told me there was a warranty issue that was focused on manufacturing problems that will cover the cost, I was so happy to have the new ones, but I do have a thing happening now where I keep getting this notification saying there’s some unknown AirPods traveling with me everywhere I go now, I don’t know if it’s from the same headphones cause I don’t have any other pair then that one 🤷🏻‍♀️.

Hi guys. On the Apple website, its says that the AirPods (Pro) had to have been manufactured before October 2020. Even if you purchased them after 10/2020 u can still be eligible. I bought mine 12/2020 and I just contacted Apple, turns out I am eligible to get mine fixed under this recall. Don’t be discouraged!

Darn. I bought mine November 2020, but we’ve already had to get them replaced anyway. Thankful apple care covered it and we had to pay maybe $30 for the service fee or something dumb. It did use up 1/2 accidental damage replacements so that was cool.
They were having issues that my husband complained about but used them anyway until I accidentally washed them 🤦🏻‍♀️ thank god for warranty.
