The Coupons app is the mobile app version of coupons.com. It’s kind of like Ibotta. You clip the offers, buy the product, and take a photo of your receipt.

Mine went through. In the process of redeeming, I scanned the barcodes, and I chose which coupon I wanted to apply for since multiple coupons applied to multiple items. There was only one $3 coupon that I had problems with. It only applied for the Colgate Total Whitening PASTE and not the Gel.
Susan, I do remember having to double check my receipt because some of the items used up a Target Circle coupon so I had to figure out which specific barcodes I shouldn’t scan because a coupon was already applied to it. So once I figured out which ones to eliminate, I scanned the other ones to redeem on the Coupons app. Maybe you were scanning the ones that already had a Target Circle coupon applied to it? Just a thought.
Had the same problem. Since I applied Target coupons for 2 items, I was able to redeem for another 2 items $2 and $3 coupons, but it took me 2 tries for them to finally catch. The first time it showed the same message, so second time I chose different coupons and it worked. I had coupons specifically for Target and then for any store, so second time it seems I chose Target coupons and it went through fine.
How did you get $12 in coupons from Coupons.com? Different accounts?
I had 5 different Colgate coupons available to me in my account. Three $2 and two $3 coupons.
Wow! That is nice. I had 2 $2 coupons and 2 $3 coupons, and only 2 of them ( $2 and $3) specific to Target worked.
I had Target specific ones and non-Target specific ones. Just make sure you scan the products that didn’t have a Target Circle coupon applied to it.
I got that error and then scanned the receipt 4x individually (how many I did) and they all went through
