Yes, for frosting. I use unsalted butter and sour cream for frosting but it all can vary, there are so many recipes of a honey cake after all 😂I was making it from sour cream & regular cream before, but I think that sour cream & butter taste better.

🙏 Aw thank you! It’s not very hard, just time consuming making all those layers, but it is my favourite cake, so sometimes I make it. If you decide to make it, I highly recommend to add chopped walnuts, it gives slight bitterness and goes amazing with the subtle honey flavour.
