When Is Costco Black Friday 2024 Sale?

This year, Costco will have its Costco Black Friday sale in four parts in November. Just like last year, these parts will have certain deals that will only be available during that period. You can expect the sales to start on November 1st and last through December 2nd!

Costco tracks your purchases through your membership account, so all you need is your membership card or number for a hassle-free return process.

Does Costco Price Match on Black Friday?
Costco’s price adjustment during Black Friday is not quite price matching, but it’s close. If you buy something and its price drops later, Costco will give you a refund for the difference, returned to your original payment method. This policy applies to both in-store and online purchases, and you have a 30-day window to request an adjustment with no price or product restrictions.
However, Costco can refuse an adjustment, but in such cases, you can simply return the item thanks to their 100% satisfaction guarantee and repurchase it at the lower price. Shopping with your Costco membership is convenient because all your receipts are saved in your membership account.
Can You Shop Costco Without a Membership?
You can shop at Costco on Thanksgiving, Black Friday, Cyber Monday, or any day without a membership, but there is a 5% surcharge on your purchases. You’ll still enjoy the same Black Friday sales!
If you’re a seasonal Costco shopper, the surcharge might be cheaper than the $65 annual membership fee, but keep in mind that if you spend over $1,000 at Costco, the surcharges could exceed the membership cost. Additionally, be aware that some items are marked as “Members Only” deals.

Does Costco Have Free Shipping?
Costco often bundles shipping and handling fees into the prices of many products, so it’s not technically free. The online prices may be inflated, ranging up to 38%, depending on the item. If the product page states “Shipping & Handling Included”, it’s likely that you could find a better deal in the warehouse, as indicated by the disclaimer “May be available In-Warehouse at a lower non-delivered price.”
In-store pickup is not widely available yet at Costco, but online shopping offers more payment options, including non-Visa cards, which aren’t accepted in-store.
