I got accepted except they didn’t say anything about scanners. I downloaded the app. And using my mobile to scan, my question is, is the earning and rewards different if u get a scanner and will I get one

I have been doing NCP for over a year now and I have to say they are pretty nice as far as me having lazy moments without scanninng stuff. I have agood amount of points to use toward a awesome prize! Plus they have a MOBILE APp THAt MAKeEs 10xxxxxxx’s easier!! I would tell anyone try! It’s May seem like it takes a whole bit u will get a routine and ur getting prizes for scanning ur grocery! That’s so easy and I am a hard core shopper.
this is just like all the other things like Swagbucks and smily 360. Every time I try to do a survey I don’t qualify. Swagbucks usually gives me just 5 swagbucks a day. One day I spent an hour just for 6 swagbucks. Don’t waste your time, spend it with your kids or grandchildren they are so much more fun.
Be aware that with NCP you have to scan every item you purchase, key in the item’s price, if double or triple coupons were used, if it was on sale, if you used a loyalty card, if you used a store coupon, if you used a manufacturer coupon and if any other deals were used. You have to do this for EVERY item you purchase, unless you get several identical items, then you have to key in the quantity. This is after scrolling through to find the correct store that you shopped at. You also have to manually key in any time you eat out, or grab a coffee on the go. As a couponer, it is a TON of work. The rewards do not make it worth it, IMO. You get something like 150 pts/week the first 6 months, then 300/week until you hit a year. You can get extra points from surveys. The cheapest reward I saw was a single movie ticket for 10,000pts. It would take nearly a year just to get that! Or you can enter drawings. Very time consuming for very little returns was my impression.
Wow didn’t know that and i been trying forever to join been trying for over 8 years and have not i will go as far as to trying to sign up every chance i get but i am always told that it’s not servicing my area which is Chicago,IL seems weird to me think i will give up!!! but thanks for the thumbs up.

they also hound you and hound you by phone and email if you don’t scan every day. when i was moving and didnt have time to scan for a while, they threatened to turn me into collections if i didn’t send the scanner back!
