UPDATE: This Giveaway is now over! Winner announcement has been posted on my homepage. See more Giveaways being dropped on my blog here.
My son Ryan is kind of a picky eater (he takes after my husband, Mr FSF ). While my daughter Sophie isn’t a picky eater, she would start to mimic her brother’s behaviors (and verbal complaints), and before you know it, meal times can turn into a battle of wills. Me vs them. And it usually ends in tears.
Then last year I discovered these plates made by Fred & Friends called “Dinner Winner“. They are designed to encourage kids to finish their food. If you follow me on SnapChat, you may have seen me use these plates when preparing meals for my kids.
I LOVE these trays! They are so fun and colorful. Each tray is set up like a little board game, where you follow a “map” of food to a ” hidden treasure”. When you finish the trail of food, the last placement is a covered spot for a hidden treat.  This is your “bait”. #Genius!
The first day I brought these plates out, they were an instant hit! And they really did motivate both my kiddos to finish their food, including things they didn’t like. I’ve since gotten these trays in pretty much every pattern . They really do make mealtime more fun, and can motivate and encourage picky eaters to finish their meals (and even try new things). I typically put a little piece of chocolate in the treat spot and that does the trick.
Anyway, it’s been a lot of fun preparing their meals and watching them use these trays. If you have a fussy eater, or you just want to add some fun into meal time, I recommend checking these plates out. They come in 5 different patterns.

I would love this for my 5 year old! He loves to eat salads which is awesome, but I want him to eat more veggies and this looks like a really fun way.
We are from Chicago, IL.
My son (3.5) eats very healthy food and is open to trying more variety than my daughter (6). We used to call our daughter the âpicky eaterâ until we read an article about how this labels her, and of course she hears us describing her this way. We learned that it is more appropriate and effective to describe her as a âlearning eaterâ meaning that her tastebuds are still adapting to different foods. We have truly found since making this change, she is more willing to try things. ALSO, we always serve a food that we are eating as a family to our kids, even if they have repeatedly said they do not like it (ex: mushrooms). We tell them they do not have to eat it, but we allowed them to have it in case they decide they would like to give it another try. They feel respected this way and are more likely to give it another go, without being forced, which will likely never be helpful to any situation.
I really want this tray for my very picky 3 year old. He only likes chicken nuggets, fries and snacks. He just recently started preschool and is being very picky at lunch time. I think this tray would be a great start for him to want to try and eat more foods!
Tina, those trays are so cute and helpful in encouraging for children to eat healthy. Thank you
I am a picky eater and extremely difficult.I don’t care about getting a treat….I have many, many good allergies and since I’m a mom and a grandmother ,I cook for myself and family!I think my grandson would love this tray!

I would love to win this to use with both of my kids! Thy can be picky about certain foods and itâs really hard to convince them to eat it. The old âyou will grow strong!â Phrase doesnât seem to cover it anymore this would make it really fun and encouraging for them. Thanks
