UPDATE: This Giveaway is now over! Winner announcement has been posted on my homepage. See more Giveaways being dropped on my blog here.
My son Ryan is kind of a picky eater (he takes after my husband, Mr FSF ). While my daughter Sophie isn’t a picky eater, she would start to mimic her brother’s behaviors (and verbal complaints), and before you know it, meal times can turn into a battle of wills. Me vs them. And it usually ends in tears.
Then last year I discovered these plates made by Fred & Friends called “Dinner Winner“. They are designed to encourage kids to finish their food. If you follow me on SnapChat, you may have seen me use these plates when preparing meals for my kids.
I LOVE these trays! They are so fun and colorful. Each tray is set up like a little board game, where you follow a “map” of food to a ” hidden treasure”. When you finish the trail of food, the last placement is a covered spot for a hidden treat.  This is your “bait”. #Genius!
The first day I brought these plates out, they were an instant hit! And they really did motivate both my kiddos to finish their food, including things they didn’t like. I’ve since gotten these trays in pretty much every pattern . They really do make mealtime more fun, and can motivate and encourage picky eaters to finish their meals (and even try new things). I typically put a little piece of chocolate in the treat spot and that does the trick.
Anyway, it’s been a lot of fun preparing their meals and watching them use these trays. If you have a fussy eater, or you just want to add some fun into meal time, I recommend checking these plates out. They come in 5 different patterns.

This product is awesome! I have a 3 year old girl that is the pickiest eater ever! Fruits and veggies…she refuses to even try them. I think something like this – with a surprise at the end of the game – may help. Thanks for sharing.
amazing, my kids think that dessert is the only food sometimes they try to bypass dinner all together . i think this game plate is amazing and will definitely take the fight out of dinner. I often times dread dinner. It usually ends with my husband or myself hand feeding them.
PLEASE!!! We adopted my son at the age of 18 months after fostering him since he left the NICU. My son was born at 24 weeks only weighing at 1 lb 1 oz. We took him home at 4 months weighing only 6lbs. He has been our little miracle baby. He has undergone many surgeries from having an infection in his shoulder and affecting the growth plate so his one arm is shorter than the other to having a gtube placed into his stomach because he aspirated into his lungs silently getting pneumonia. Now he is 9 and STILL has a gtube because he is classified as âFailure to Thriveâ. He hardly eats unless itâs pasta or bread. This plate would be such a lifesaver to be able to introduce different foods and to make it fun! Please please i would love one of these plates to help my little guy!!
I would love to try this for my picky son. He has 4 food up his sleeves and Iâve so tired of it. Chicken nuggets, grilled cheese, Mac & cheese, egg rolls and bread.
Hi thank you for sharing this great post. I will use this plate for my second son he does not like vegetables And I have battle with him every single time.
I’m from orange county, Cali! My youngest is also mimicking her older sister and meal times are taking FOREVER!!!! Would love to have this in hopes to her speeding up instead of sitting there for an extra half hour or more after everyone is finished!
What a fun prize!!!! Thanks Tina!
I would love these trays for my picky 7yr old son. I can’t seem to get him to eat more fruits and vegetables without making himself gag and then vomit. I think these trays will get him for excited to eat the foods and keep it down!

My picky eater is my 4 year old son. He loves french fries, fruit, chicken nuggets, PBJ, and rice. He donât like anything with sauce on it so he eats his spaghetti with out the sauce. He wonât eat to many vegetables he always say âmom thatâs besgustingâ. But a little tip I always tell my son if he eats his food he can be big and strong like the Power Rangers. Then heâll eat his and start flexing his muscles saying âlook mommy you see my musclesâ. I just love it because he makes me laugh. Good Luck Everyone!!
