UPDATE: This Giveaway is now over! Winner announcement has been posted on my homepage. See more Giveaways being dropped on my blog here.
My son Ryan is kind of a picky eater (he takes after my husband, Mr FSF ). While my daughter Sophie isn’t a picky eater, she would start to mimic her brother’s behaviors (and verbal complaints), and before you know it, meal times can turn into a battle of wills. Me vs them. And it usually ends in tears.
Then last year I discovered these plates made by Fred & Friends called “Dinner Winner“. They are designed to encourage kids to finish their food. If you follow me on SnapChat, you may have seen me use these plates when preparing meals for my kids.
I LOVE these trays! They are so fun and colorful. Each tray is set up like a little board game, where you follow a “map” of food to a ” hidden treasure”. When you finish the trail of food, the last placement is a covered spot for a hidden treat.  This is your “bait”. #Genius!
The first day I brought these plates out, they were an instant hit! And they really did motivate both my kiddos to finish their food, including things they didn’t like. I’ve since gotten these trays in pretty much every pattern . They really do make mealtime more fun, and can motivate and encourage picky eaters to finish their meals (and even try new things). I typically put a little piece of chocolate in the treat spot and that does the trick.
Anyway, it’s been a lot of fun preparing their meals and watching them use these trays. If you have a fussy eater, or you just want to add some fun into meal time, I recommend checking these plates out. They come in 5 different patterns.

My son isn’t a picky eater at all but daughter on the other hand can be apprehensive about new things and she LOVESSSS to take her sweet ole time eating. I mean ive had night where she was the first one at the the last one off. I was able to clean up dinner & she was still there!!! She needs encouragement to eat & try new things. Im hoping if I’m lucky enough she will get blessed with one of these awesome plates!
I have a two year old who is a picky eater. I hope this plate will help.
This looks like an awesome addition to mealtime for either of my kids, a 5 year old and 2 year old! I have the same issue at mealtime with my picky older son, and my daughter who will usually try anything but is starting to reject some foods that she sees her brother wonât eat. My picky one usually eats grilled cheese, cheese omelettes, and waffles, rarely does he eat vegetables other than potatoes. He LOVES board games, I think this would do the trick if put veggies in between and chocolate at the end. Iâve heard of parents using âpushersâ where they have their child take a bite of their meal and then the next bite will be of a choice food like a potato chip to push them to their next bite of mealtime food. I feel like that may take forever to complete a meal but whatever works!
Greetings from Denver, Colorado!
I so need this for my 3 year old! Iâm hoping it will help him eat faster! It takes him an hour to eat!! Literally! I have to sit and feed him to make meal times faster and itâs so hard because I have a 1 year old that i also need to feed!
Iâve been following you since you had hundreds of followers and now more and more of my friends follow you too!!
I would love this tray for my four year old nephew who is an extremely picky eater. He gets prizes for trying new things, but for right now they make him
An âeverything âplate with the about 5 items he will only eat.
I would love this trays because I have 2 picky eaters. My boy is 9 and my girl is 5. My daughter is a little more picky. They don’t really like trying new food and it gets frustrating. I’m reading from Bloomington, CA.
These would be perfect for my little 3 year old! He really isnât talking yet, and itâs a challenge getting him to eat his food! These would really help a lot! With all his meals!!

Greetings from Long Beach, CA. I would love to win this tray for my son who just turned three. He loves rice and water… rice and soup. Rice. Rice. Rice. He doesn’t like meat but will eat “ribs” occasionally. Any meat on a bone has to be “ribs” if you say it’s anything else, he will not even let it touch his plate. He will eat all his green vegetables. “Mommy, I want more ve-ga-bles.” If I had a hidden chocolate slot, I’m sure he would eat everything on the tray!
