• Favorite Things Friday: Dinner Winner Kids Dinner Trays (Making Meal Time Fun)

UPDATE: This Giveaway is now over! Winner announcement has been posted on my homepage. See more Giveaways being dropped on my blog here.

My son Ryan is kind of a picky eater (he takes after my husband, Mr FSF ). While my daughter Sophie isn’t a picky eater, she would start to mimic her brother’s behaviors (and verbal complaints), and before you know it, meal times can turn into a battle of wills. Me vs them. And it usually ends in tears.

Then last year I discovered these plates made by Fred & Friends called “Dinner Winner“. They are designed to encourage kids to finish their food. If you follow me on SnapChat, you may have seen me use these plates when preparing meals for my kids.

I LOVE these trays! They are so fun and colorful. Each tray is set up like a little board game, where you follow a “map” of food to a ” hidden treasure”.  When you finish the trail of food, the last placement is a covered spot for a hidden treat.   This is your “bait”. #Genius!

The first day I brought these plates out, they were an instant hit! And they really did motivate both my kiddos to finish their food, including things they didn’t like. I’ve since gotten these trays in pretty much every pattern . They really do make mealtime more fun, and can motivate and encourage picky eaters to finish their meals (and even try new things). I typically put a little piece of chocolate in the treat spot and that does the trick.

Anyway, it’s been a lot of fun preparing their meals and watching them use these trays. If you have a fussy eater, or you just want to add some fun into meal time, I recommend checking these plates out. They come in 5 different patterns.

This is the best idea ever! My son is such a picky eater. I’m constantly having to tell him how much more he has to eat until he can be finished. I think this is a great way to break his food up and know where is end goal is (along with a treat).

I would like to win the trays for my sons. My four year old is a picky eater. He loves surprises and seeing his progression would definitely motivate him to finish his meals. My 3yo would just love it and I think it would help him stay focused on eating. He likes to eat a bite then go do other things. That makes eating for him take way longer than it should. I think the tray would help out with that.

I would give this to my grand daughter. She is a little over a year old and eats about everything. She loves broccoli, chicken fingers & Mac& cheese. I would love to surprise her with this fun plate she could use to have fun eating. Thank you!

      Hi!!
I love this tray, my kids are not super oily eaters, I think they just go through phases that they either eat a lot or not much. When they’re in the not much eating phase I just make sure they eat all good foods first, and then only then they may have a treat. Because lots of times it’s hard to have them eat healthy and it’s a constant fight. So for us it’s the house rule first good food them a little treat. That’s why these trays would fit just perfect with us!
      Love watching and following you

My very picky 7 year old has never even had beef or rice and he’s part Asian. He keeps to the same foods: breads, fries, pizza, nuggets, and Mac and cheese. We have tried a new trick where he is a food taste tester and reviews foods. Altho many he at least tried but doesn’t like. A few likes but won’t eat again. All I can do is just keep trying.

      every meal.

I want this tray for my son. He is mad when I make something he doesn’t like and throws temper tantrums in hopes of changing the meal. ‍♀️ Sometimes I have to still to this day feed him myself and he’s going on 5…

I would love to win this for my daughter! She is 4 years old and is a picky eater! She has her favorites but she isn’t afraid to try things but normally doesn’t always like them lol !! I do sneak in veggies in a smoothie and she doesn’t know! This plate would for sure spark her interest in eating more!!! Thank you for this chance.

My daughter used to love eating veggies when she was a baby, after she entered what I called the “yucky” face (everything on her plate was yucky) I haven’t been able to get her back on eating them. we are in Passaic, New Jersey
