• Favorite Things Friday: Dinner Winner Kids Dinner Trays (Making Meal Time Fun)

UPDATE: This Giveaway is now over! Winner announcement has been posted on my homepage. See more Giveaways being dropped on my blog here.

My son Ryan is kind of a picky eater (he takes after my husband, Mr FSF ). While my daughter Sophie isn’t a picky eater, she would start to mimic her brother’s behaviors (and verbal complaints), and before you know it, meal times can turn into a battle of wills. Me vs them. And it usually ends in tears.

Then last year I discovered these plates made by Fred & Friends called “Dinner Winner“. They are designed to encourage kids to finish their food. If you follow me on SnapChat, you may have seen me use these plates when preparing meals for my kids.

I LOVE these trays! They are so fun and colorful. Each tray is set up like a little board game, where you follow a “map” of food to a ” hidden treasure”.  When you finish the trail of food, the last placement is a covered spot for a hidden treat.   This is your “bait”. #Genius!

The first day I brought these plates out, they were an instant hit! And they really did motivate both my kiddos to finish their food, including things they didn’t like. I’ve since gotten these trays in pretty much every pattern . They really do make mealtime more fun, and can motivate and encourage picky eaters to finish their meals (and even try new things). I typically put a little piece of chocolate in the treat spot and that does the trick.

Anyway, it’s been a lot of fun preparing their meals and watching them use these trays. If you have a fussy eater, or you just want to add some fun into meal time, I recommend checking these plates out. They come in 5 different patterns.

I think this would be a great gift for my friend’s son, to encourage him to try different foods and make sure that he has a good meal. Thanks for the tips. I’m subscribed. Reading from Tampa FL ❤️

I would love this for my daughter. She always asks me,’how many more bites?’ This would be great! Her favorite foods are chicken, tuna pasta and ice cream (who doesn’t love ice cream?!?).

What a great idea. I wish I had thought of this. Trying to get a toddler to eat anything green is a chore. This could do the trick.

Would love to win these for my nephews. The little one is really picky. He has many food allergies so he is very hard to get to try something new. Not sure if it’s because he is picky or because he remembers from being little getting sick from foods (he is 4) Live in Mesa Arizona

I would love to have this for my 6 year old son. He was diagnosed with SPD and is a picky eater. He gets into certain foods and will eat the same thing everyday for months. Playing with food and making meal time fun helps him try new foods. Even just touching a new food is major progress.

Hello! My little munchkin is 10 years old. I know 10 is a big number. He’s not just any 10 year old. He was born with more colors than one would. ❤ He’s an extremely picky eater. So bad that he would go a day MAYBE even two days without eatting but I try so hard to not let that happen. When I saw this I was like “OMG THIS IS AWESOME!!!!! THIS MIGHT MOTIVATE HIM” I try to get him to try new things but I never thought there were things like this!!!! I hope I win. GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE WHO ENTERED!
