UPDATE: This Giveaway is now over! Winner announcement has been posted on my homepage. See more Giveaways being dropped on my blog here.
My son Ryan is kind of a picky eater (he takes after my husband, Mr FSF ). While my daughter Sophie isn’t a picky eater, she would start to mimic her brother’s behaviors (and verbal complaints), and before you know it, meal times can turn into a battle of wills. Me vs them. And it usually ends in tears.
Then last year I discovered these plates made by Fred & Friends called “Dinner Winner“. They are designed to encourage kids to finish their food. If you follow me on SnapChat, you may have seen me use these plates when preparing meals for my kids.
I LOVE these trays! They are so fun and colorful. Each tray is set up like a little board game, where you follow a “map” of food to a ” hidden treasure”. When you finish the trail of food, the last placement is a covered spot for a hidden treat.  This is your “bait”. #Genius!
The first day I brought these plates out, they were an instant hit! And they really did motivate both my kiddos to finish their food, including things they didn’t like. I’ve since gotten these trays in pretty much every pattern . They really do make mealtime more fun, and can motivate and encourage picky eaters to finish their meals (and even try new things). I typically put a little piece of chocolate in the treat spot and that does the trick.
Anyway, it’s been a lot of fun preparing their meals and watching them use these trays. If you have a fussy eater, or you just want to add some fun into meal time, I recommend checking these plates out. They come in 5 different patterns.

I would ABSOLUTELY LOVE for my picky child! My son doesnât like to eat anything! He is 10 now and thought by now it would pass, but nope. His fav food is rice and chicken or anything junky . I am reading from Margate, FL
I would Love to win this for my Son who is 3 going on 4. Everyday eating is a challenge. He bases his decisions on the look and smell. His favorite foods are chicken, beans and rice, meatballs and anything pasta. A useful to sneak in veggies are either chopping them real tiny to make them thin enough to blend in or I blend the veggies into a sauce. Itâs alaway a hit and miss with my kid. Heâs mild ASD and itâs usually his way or the highway to meltdown ville. Iâm reading from San Jose,CA
Hi! Iâm entering because I have a super picky three year old boy. He truly lives off of yogurt and applesauce. We joke that itâs because heâs âtoo busyâ to stay still long enough to chew actual food. He had feeding therapy from about 9-18 months and a lot of his solid food was âcoatedâ with liquids like applesauce or ketchup so I think I may have hung onto that routine too long and now itâs just biting me in the booty. Anyway, I would love to win this to make meal time a little more fun and encourage eating those super foods. Thanks!
I have a three year old son and seven year old daughter. My daughter used to eat a variety of things until her brother became of solid food age. Now she mimics his eating behavior which is very frustrating at times because my three year old is very picky. Right now he loves hot dogs, french fries and pizza. My daughter will eat chicken when she is not in the mood for pizza, but she breaks apart the chicken into tiny pieces to eat ugh. At times I can get them to eat broccoli and green beans but for the most part it’s a struggle during dinner time. Can’t wait for them to out grow this stage. Reading from Paterson, NJ
Hiya!!! My son is a picky eater and I’m always trying to change things up for him but never have any luck. One thing that I do love for dinners is that I get cookie cutters and cut food out with that. Sometimes, if he is in a good mood, he will be excited to bite their heads off and more than he usually does. I’m from tacoma, wa!! Thanks for all you do.
Hello, those plates are awesome! I think that as parents we’ve encountered picky eaters at one point of parenthood, all my kids can be picky at times but my toddler just won’t have it, I have learned that by turning their foods into dippable meals they also eat and have fun doing it. I think with a plate like this one, she’ll turn her meals into a party! I am reading from Ogden, UT. Thanks for sharing!
New Orleans,LA. At our house, we pretend that Daddy is the fussy eater. So my daughter and I will eat our dinner and convince him how good it is so he can eat his – itâs our reverse psychology method – of course, heâs in on it – but it makes our daughter think she helping her father with good eating habits !!!. And then, of course, treats can be picked and had after the meal is done !!! Itâs an all around winner !!!
This is the most adorable thing i have ever seen.cant wait until my son tries it out thankyou so much
I have 5 kids at home and NONE of them like the same things. While 4 of them, including my toddler, are pretty good about eating whatever I give them, my 8 year old is a very picky eater. He also struggles with a mood disorder and ADHD and will sit at the table and just sob if I serve a food he doesn’t like. Even if it’s something I think he would like, he will refuse to even try it. I know these trays are probably aimed at a younger age group, but for a mom struggling with a child with emotional issues, this may really help us have successful, stress-free dinners! Thanks for the chance to win one, Tina. I live in Wyoming, MI.
My picky eater is my youngest. She is 3, will be 4 on the 11th. She will sit down at dinner and will always say I don’t like it. Then ask for a snack instead. She is my only picky child so I’m trying to find ways to get her to eat what we eat. I think this plate is a great idea and just might do the trick for her. Thank you for sharing this!
