• Favorite Things Friday: Dinner Winner Kids Dinner Trays (Making Meal Time Fun)

UPDATE: This Giveaway is now over! Winner announcement has been posted on my homepage. See more Giveaways being dropped on my blog here.

My son Ryan is kind of a picky eater (he takes after my husband, Mr FSF ). While my daughter Sophie isn’t a picky eater, she would start to mimic her brother’s behaviors (and verbal complaints), and before you know it, meal times can turn into a battle of wills. Me vs them. And it usually ends in tears.

Then last year I discovered these plates made by Fred & Friends called “Dinner Winner“. They are designed to encourage kids to finish their food. If you follow me on SnapChat, you may have seen me use these plates when preparing meals for my kids.

I LOVE these trays! They are so fun and colorful. Each tray is set up like a little board game, where you follow a “map” of food to a ” hidden treasure”.  When you finish the trail of food, the last placement is a covered spot for a hidden treat.   This is your “bait”. #Genius!

The first day I brought these plates out, they were an instant hit! And they really did motivate both my kiddos to finish their food, including things they didn’t like. I’ve since gotten these trays in pretty much every pattern . They really do make mealtime more fun, and can motivate and encourage picky eaters to finish their meals (and even try new things). I typically put a little piece of chocolate in the treat spot and that does the trick.

Anyway, it’s been a lot of fun preparing their meals and watching them use these trays. If you have a fussy eater, or you just want to add some fun into meal time, I recommend checking these plates out. They come in 5 different patterns.

      OMG!
I have a 10 year old that her menu consists of 5 items!!
And now her sister seems to be now following in that direction. I have tried everything. Maybe these cool plates will be a better incentive for them
So frustrating when you are a working mom, I don’t want to prepare different meals for everyone!!

I have two nephews who are very picky eaters! One loves to eat meat while the other only eats vegetables! Their mom and I are always trying to get them to eat the opposite and they get so frustrated! Even if I don’t win this I plan on getting them one each! I’m reading from Lowell, MA.

My son is 6 yrs old and is a picky eater. I think this will definitely help him eat his entire meal. He loves Mexican rice and chicken nuggets, so having this will definitely help me share a larger variety in small portions.

These plates look awesome! My 6 year old daughter Emma is pretty picky and always wants to play at dinnertime so these would be a hit. Her favorite meal is lemon chicken and noodles with butter and special salt, aka sea salt. We’re from southern CA and I love seeing yoir deals everyday! Thank you for sharing these plates and having these giveaways

Hi these are the cutest! I would love one for my little princess. I I have a five year old Mikaela that has used the little $1 spot trays that are usually available every holiday she loves them! She eats almost everything I’m very lucky , but my tip is I made her try it all once if you don’t like it at least you tried it! Luckily for me I have a 17 and a 25 year old that because of my “try it might like it” method they eat everything ! We are from Anaheim, California!! Thank you hope I’m the lucky one

My little guy is a pretty picky eater…he loves games so this would be amazing to try…I’ve tried the whole get a good treat at the end of meals but now he’s just stuck on chicken nuggets and pasta…I’m hoping this try will help him venture out to try new foods to “win a prize”. Any tips of how to conquer a picky eater would be amazing. I’m a California bay area reader and fingers crossed…we can win a tray
