UPDATE: This Giveaway is now over! Winner announcement has been posted on my homepage. See more Giveaways being dropped on my blog here.
My son Ryan is kind of a picky eater (he takes after my husband, Mr FSF ). While my daughter Sophie isn’t a picky eater, she would start to mimic her brother’s behaviors (and verbal complaints), and before you know it, meal times can turn into a battle of wills. Me vs them. And it usually ends in tears.
Then last year I discovered these plates made by Fred & Friends called “Dinner Winner“. They are designed to encourage kids to finish their food. If you follow me on SnapChat, you may have seen me use these plates when preparing meals for my kids.
I LOVE these trays! They are so fun and colorful. Each tray is set up like a little board game, where you follow a “map” of food to a ” hidden treasure”. When you finish the trail of food, the last placement is a covered spot for a hidden treat.  This is your “bait”. #Genius!
The first day I brought these plates out, they were an instant hit! And they really did motivate both my kiddos to finish their food, including things they didn’t like. I’ve since gotten these trays in pretty much every pattern . They really do make mealtime more fun, and can motivate and encourage picky eaters to finish their meals (and even try new things). I typically put a little piece of chocolate in the treat spot and that does the trick.
Anyway, it’s been a lot of fun preparing their meals and watching them use these trays. If you have a fussy eater, or you just want to add some fun into meal time, I recommend checking these plates out. They come in 5 different patterns.

This would be perfect for my oldest. Shes 6 and would give any picky eater a run for their money. Our diet consists of anything on a kids menu minus any red meat. I could turn her into a vegetarian and she wouldn’t notice a difference. I would love to get her to try new things with an incentive that would help alleviate some of the dinner pains that are begging pleading and crying (mostly from me) hahaha. Reading from sunny so cal. (Moreno valley, CA)
Kids I used to nanny.
These would make great surprise Christmas gifts for the youngest ones!

My son is a picky eater especially at home as he tries to test his boundries. He doesn’t like change so if I want to vary up the meals for dinner, he makes things tough at the dinner table. He loves pizza, mac-n-cheese, plain turkey sandwiches, go-gurt, apples. We live in Las Vegas, NV.
I would like to win this for my nieces. I have 4 nieces that are babies and toddlers. The toddlers Are getting pickier and luckier. Iâve always told them they can have a treat at the end but they want to see it and hold it. It would be cute to have it hidden where they know and itâs a surprise. She loves all kinds of fruits especially strawberries & wTermelon. She loves chicken nuggets, cauliflower fried rice, rice porridge, and only veggie right now is peas. When I saw this on your Snapchat. I told my sisters we needed it. Once bills are paid and I have extra I would love to get one for them. Iâm from Santa Rosa, California. Love the blog and your website. So helpful! Who doesnât love savings! Thanks for the opportunity.
Hi Tina! Yes, I definitely know about a picky eater. My 5 year old, Jaden, used to eat his peas and carrots and LOVED broccoli. But as he got older, the first to go was carrots, then peas and now he barely eats his previously most favorite, broccoli. When I try to sneak it in his fried rice, he spots it and say, Mom! I don’t want these green things! Cross his arms and will not eat until I remove any or all of them. Yes, it is frustrating and it is a daily arguement. Lucky I give him daily vitamins to help in this area. More than anything I hope he will come back and love his broccoli. Mom can never give up, right? My remedy is to season the veggies as delicious as I can so he won’t notice. Hey garlic and onions seem to always slide in fine. Bit the colorful ones, he knows. We hail from, San Diego. Ca. And thank you for a great alternative for this parent problem.

My nephew is 5 and is not a big eater at all. You have to tell him not to eat in order for him to eat. Itâs the opposite game almost every time. He does like dipping foods in sauces. I think this would encourage him to eat (at least enough food) and help him learn to read since he just started school.
Would be Very useful for kiddos.
Dont get frustrated trying. Get frustrated when you quit trying.
My life quote
These would be great for my 8,5 and 2 year old. Getting them to eat their dinner without the promise of a âtreatâ is near impossible! They would love this plate and have fun eating each section until they get their âtreatâ.
Iâve got 3 kiddos. A 3 year old daughter and 1 year old boy/girl twins. Iâd like a tray like this misty for my oldest. I always feel like she doesnât eat enough because she doesnât eat everything on her plate. I think this tray will help me portion her food and motivate her to eat whatâs on her plate. Iâll worry about getting the twins one later.
Greetings from Ephrata, PA! Our 4-year-old is our picky eater, and she will oftentimes stand up in her chair or walk around if she doesn’t like what’s for dinner. These fun plates might help!
