• Favorite Things Friday: Dinner Winner Kids Dinner Trays (Making Meal Time Fun)

UPDATE: This Giveaway is now over! Winner announcement has been posted on my homepage. See more Giveaways being dropped on my blog here.

My son Ryan is kind of a picky eater (he takes after my husband, Mr FSF ). While my daughter Sophie isn’t a picky eater, she would start to mimic her brother’s behaviors (and verbal complaints), and before you know it, meal times can turn into a battle of wills. Me vs them. And it usually ends in tears.

Then last year I discovered these plates made by Fred & Friends called “Dinner Winner“. They are designed to encourage kids to finish their food. If you follow me on SnapChat, you may have seen me use these plates when preparing meals for my kids.

I LOVE these trays! They are so fun and colorful. Each tray is set up like a little board game, where you follow a “map” of food to a ” hidden treasure”.  When you finish the trail of food, the last placement is a covered spot for a hidden treat.   This is your “bait”. #Genius!

The first day I brought these plates out, they were an instant hit! And they really did motivate both my kiddos to finish their food, including things they didn’t like. I’ve since gotten these trays in pretty much every pattern . They really do make mealtime more fun, and can motivate and encourage picky eaters to finish their meals (and even try new things). I typically put a little piece of chocolate in the treat spot and that does the trick.

Anyway, it’s been a lot of fun preparing their meals and watching them use these trays. If you have a fussy eater, or you just want to add some fun into meal time, I recommend checking these plates out. They come in 5 different patterns.

There are so many little ones in my life that would LOVE this dinner tray…but this is especially perfect for my five year old nephew, Dominic! He would love to make mealtime a game! Sending with love from Miami, FL!

My granddaughter Elizabeth is super picky, but she loves games. I think this would be ideal and hopefully get her to eat a little more. Since her 5th birthday is coming up soon, it would make a wonderful birthday gift. I’ll always worry a little more about her, because she was born early and we were so scared that something would happen. She came thru, however, and we love her and her sister very much

My 4yo daughter has OCD and wants to eat the same thing everyday. It’s hard for her to go outside her norm. I’m hoping this will make it it more fun and interesting for her at mealtime. (And less stressful for me!)

Thanks for sharing! These trays look so fun. I have 3 little ones and have faced similar challenges at mealtimes. I got my kids the small divided trays from Target in their own colors but I bet they would love these! Following from Honolulu Hawaii

My 4 year old son is not a big eater. I try my best to get him to eat a variety of things but he refuses. Maybe trying something like this will get him to try new things. Viewing from Pearl, MS

My son rarely eats and we struggle to get him to try anything new. I’m so worried about his development. Pediasure can only give him so much nutrients and I’ve looked everywhere for plates like this at an affordable price since I’m the only one who works in our household and although I work 2 jobs, extra funds are rare. I would be so so thankful for this giveaway to see if it can change my son’s eating habits and take away the extra stress of my shoulders! Thank you for posting.

I have a picky 4 year old who loves to eat mainly fruits & veggies with her dinner. I would put the fruits and veggies toward the end and the meats and carbs near the top so she can get to what she loves the most!

I would love to win this genius-looking plate for my 2 year old daughter, Star! She loves blueberries, broccoli, roasted cherry tomatoes, string cheese, chicken & most recently peas! I feed her throughout the day starting with the healthiest foods before giving her the more “tasty” “sweet treat” foods to make sure she eats it all 🙂 Oh boy, does she loves to eat! But at times she can be picky, so I think this plate would help bring lots of fun to mealtimes! We currently live in Las Vegas, NV. Thank you for your consideration & sharing this wonderful invention!

I am reading this from Santa Maria, Ca. My son and daughter are very picky eaters! (5&7 years old ) but they are both very opposite of eachother! What one kid likes the other doesn’t, which makes things very complicated when cooking! My daughter loves meat and fat foods, while my son enjoys veggies and fruits!
