UPDATE: This Giveaway is now over! Winner announcement has been posted on my homepage. See more Giveaways being dropped on my blog here.
My son Ryan is kind of a picky eater (he takes after my husband, Mr FSF ). While my daughter Sophie isn’t a picky eater, she would start to mimic her brother’s behaviors (and verbal complaints), and before you know it, meal times can turn into a battle of wills. Me vs them. And it usually ends in tears.
Then last year I discovered these plates made by Fred & Friends called “Dinner Winner“. They are designed to encourage kids to finish their food. If you follow me on SnapChat, you may have seen me use these plates when preparing meals for my kids.
I LOVE these trays! They are so fun and colorful. Each tray is set up like a little board game, where you follow a “map” of food to a ” hidden treasure”. When you finish the trail of food, the last placement is a covered spot for a hidden treat.  This is your “bait”. #Genius!
The first day I brought these plates out, they were an instant hit! And they really did motivate both my kiddos to finish their food, including things they didn’t like. I’ve since gotten these trays in pretty much every pattern . They really do make mealtime more fun, and can motivate and encourage picky eaters to finish their meals (and even try new things). I typically put a little piece of chocolate in the treat spot and that does the trick.
Anyway, it’s been a lot of fun preparing their meals and watching them use these trays. If you have a fussy eater, or you just want to add some fun into meal time, I recommend checking these plates out. They come in 5 different patterns.

Hi I’m from Dallas TX and I would love to win one of these trays. I have a 4 year old who’s a very picky eater. He loves to eat pizza and chicken nuggets. That’s it! It’s so hard to make him try a little bite of anything. Even fruit will be spat out. SMH HELP
I have a special needs daughter she is age 7! She would love this plate as it would encourage her to eat by mouth as she is tube fed! We would take this plate everywhere we eat including restaurants, hospital, feeding therapy, and school! The feeding therapist actually suggested this plate for us to try but its a bit out of our budget. We live on a tight budget due to her having so many medical appts, surgeries and medical conditions that require so much time and resources
Thank you for considering us for the free plate
Every meal since the day my son was born is an absolute battleground. Thatâs probably why my 3&1/2 yr old is still 25lbs His favorite food is milk, milk, and more milk…sometimes topped with a side of yogurt. We spend every meal begging him to take x more bites and literally end up placing bites of food in his mouth. Heâs beyond a picky eater and honestly has no hunger button. Heâs a very reward oriented kid (worked great with potty training) so this plate with a hidden treasure as a reward for eating a meal would be fabulous. Reading from Huntington Beach CA.
Hello. I’m writing from Washington, DC. My Mehki’ is currently seeing a therapist for food aversion. He will not eat fruits or veggies Currently, I hide veggies in other dishes, like spinach in his grilled cheese (a favorite) or veggies in his homemade pizza (just don’t let the cheese slip) I also blend fruits and veggies to drink (he’ll drink anything.) I often withhold dessert in hopes of forcing him to at least try his veggies at dinner and this plate is an interesting way of him working up to it. Also, the portion sizes are great. If any other moms are having aversion issues, please share some of your accomplishments with me.
I have a 3 and 8 year old and theyâre so picky if itâs not chicken nuggets, French bread pizza, beans and cheese they wonât eat it or even attempt to try it. If itâs green I can completely forget about it. Reading from Colton Ca
I am from Newville PA. My daughter is three years old and is such a picky eater. She likes pasta, chicken nuggets, and hot dogs. i would love to give her an incentive to try new foods.
My son is 4 years old and have sensory issues with food. He was working with a occupational therapist from 18months-3 years He’s doing so much better now, he was only eating pizza and chicken nuggets a year ago. I started rewarding him for trying a different things, he had expanded his choices (but almost everything smothered in ketchup) he eats rice and tortillas he likes steak, hamburger meat and pork chops. He’s also into some fruits grapes, bananas and apples. We still working with veggies. I would love to try this plate to introduce more veggies. Thanks -Z
My son Christian is kind of a picky eater, is very dificult for me, i need this plata, pleeeasee… thank you, always have so many era deals
Telling them to eat 4 more bites doesnât work. If they were cut up and put onto the game, it might be more effective to get the treat. Itâs a great visual, with an end point đ Hereâs hoping!! Location: Washington, DC
I have a 3 and 7 year old they are very picky eaters. Sometimes is hard for me because I finish doing 3 different meals for the family.
