My son Ryan is kind of a picky eater (he takes after my husband, Mr FSF ). While my daughter Sophie isn’t a picky eater, she would start to mimic her brother’s behaviors (and verbal complaints), and before you know it, meal times can turn into a battle of wills. Me vs them. And it usually ends in tears.
Then last year I discovered these plates made by Fred & Friends called “Dinner Winner“. They are designed to encourage kids to finish their food. If you follow me on SnapChat, you may have seen me use these plates when preparing meals for my kids.
I LOVE these trays! They are so fun and colorful. Each tray is set up like a little board game, where you follow a “map” of food to a ” hidden treasure”. When you finish the trail of food, the last placement is a covered spot for a hidden treat.  This is your “bait”. #Genius!
The first day I brought these plates out, they were an instant hit! And they really did motivate both my kiddos to finish their food, including things they didn’t like. I’ve since gotten these trays in pretty much every pattern . They really do make mealtime more fun, and can motivate and encourage picky eaters to finish their meals (and even try new things). I typically put a little piece of chocolate in the treat spot and that does the trick.
Anyway, it’s been a lot of fun preparing their meals and watching them use these trays. If you have a fussy eater, or you just want to add some fun into meal time, I recommend checking these plates out. They come in 5 different patterns.

I need this for my daughter!!! Sheâs easily distracted so maybe this cute little track and hidden treat will get her to focus on food. She also only loves sweets thanks to my husband whoâs been feeding her ice cream since she was a baby
I have been eyeing these FOREVER! I have a threenager and he is such a grazer, so I think this would be an awesome thing to get him to actually eat more. My cheat is on the days where Iâm making Mac and cheese I put some peas or carrots in it so at least the kiddos are getting something healthy.

Nice! I have a 3.5 yo that like alot of liquids, which makes her full. This would make it fun at meal time. California
My three year old is so picky! I feel like dinner is a constant struggle at our house. Our favorite trick to get some vegetables in her is to use veggies in tomatoe pasta sauce or use veggie pasta
I would use this for my son who has multiple food allergies. Often I have to make him eat veggies that he wouldnât want to eat otherwise but needs since he canât hsve certain foods. This would make it more fun for him to eat it!
My daughter loves peas and pasta. This would be such a fun way for her to eat her food!
Hello Catalina from Alexandria,Va. I have 3 boys 16, 15, and 11/2 yr old. As much as this could be useful for my toddler sometimes I think I can use this for my teenagers . This would encourage them to eat all their food and a treat would be the remote to the tv. Lol
Angelo my 11/2yr old is a pretty good eater but recently just started not eating his veggies. This would be a great way to encourage him to eat his veggies with a special treat. Hope to be a winner !

This is such a great idea. My son who is 4 is seriously the pickiest eater. He loves sweets (thanks to grandparents) hahah and I have a very hard time getting him to eat healthy. So frustrating. He loves board games so this would be awesome for him. He can eat his way through and get a sweet treat at the end. Maybe he will eat more veggies if we have this plate.
