UPDATE: This Giveaway is now over! Winner announcement has been posted on my homepage. See more Giveaways being dropped on my blog here.
My son Ryan is kind of a picky eater (he takes after my husband, Mr FSF ). While my daughter Sophie isn’t a picky eater, she would start to mimic her brother’s behaviors (and verbal complaints), and before you know it, meal times can turn into a battle of wills. Me vs them. And it usually ends in tears.
Then last year I discovered these plates made by Fred & Friends called “Dinner Winner“. They are designed to encourage kids to finish their food. If you follow me on SnapChat, you may have seen me use these plates when preparing meals for my kids.
I LOVE these trays! They are so fun and colorful. Each tray is set up like a little board game, where you follow a “map” of food to a ” hidden treasure”. When you finish the trail of food, the last placement is a covered spot for a hidden treat. This is your “bait”. #Genius!
The first day I brought these plates out, they were an instant hit! And they really did motivate both my kiddos to finish their food, including things they didn’t like. I’ve since gotten these trays in pretty much every pattern . They really do make mealtime more fun, and can motivate and encourage picky eaters to finish their meals (and even try new things). I typically put a little piece of chocolate in the treat spot and that does the trick.
Anyway, it’s been a lot of fun preparing their meals and watching them use these trays. If you have a fussy eater, or you just want to add some fun into meal time, I recommend checking these plates out. They come in 5 different patterns.

I would love these plates for my 9 yr old and 6 yr old.
My 9 yr old is very picky with vegetables and almost very dinner side. I hope these help and make dinner time more fun for him.
Thanks
I would love to have one of these trays for my 2.5 year old! He’s always been a picky eater and it’s been frustrating to see no weight gain for the last couple months. (Although I do think he has grown a few inches). He does really well with token systems so I think this tray would be perfect for him! Some of his favorites are fruit, PBJ sandwiches, plain rice and gummy bears. Lol I’m reading from Oxnard, CA.
Oh my lanta! These plates are genius. I would love this plate for my entire family’s sanity… seriously EVERY meal is like pulling teeth and such a huge battle between my son and husband it makes dinner for our entire family not enjoyable. I feel this would be a life changer. We would be so grateful to win. Thanks for considering us!
I would love these for my 2 year old that’s a terrible eater, we have tried just about anything and everything but he continues to give us a hard time. We take it day by day and we love trying new things.
My sisters 2 kids, both are my Godkids, are just starting to pick and veggichoose veggies. It’s sohard for my sister to have a meal where it includes veggies without a discussion and or whining from the kiddos.
I strongly believe this plate will make such a huge difference on the little one Fabian, 1st grader and starting his veggie career of a life time
Thank you for your awesome posts!
My daughter will LOVE this, as she CAN play with her food….& eat it! Fantatsic plate!
I’m from Live Oak, Ca. I would love to win this tray!!!! Omgoodness! I’ve been having trouble with my almost 3 year old on his meals! I’ve tried to make his food look more appetizing by making them look like animals, telling him his little sister will beat him to his food, telling him he can have a treat once he finishes his food…and so on. I actually took him to the dr after my mother in law kept telling me he was too skinny and if I fed him!!! The dr said he was perfect on his weight, he’s just skinny. The past 2 weeks he’s been eating good. But this tray will def be a life saver for me!!
For my 9 yr old son. He is autistic and can be picky about foods. This looks like a great motivation trick. Eat your food get as prize. He favorite foods are pizza, spaghetti and taco’s with extra cheese
My daughter is seven and she is a picky eater. She gets it from me. She doesnt like most food with seasonings or brown coating on her food. She thinks it is burnt. Her favorite foods are ham, rice, and macaroni and cheese. Im from garland tx
First off I’m so mad because I was almost done writing my long post and I accidentally swiped down! Ahh ok, to sum up what I had said, I would absolutely love this tray for my 3 year old son Nikolai. He’s not a picky eater, he eats every veggie in the book (I know I’ve been blessed!), but he would just be so much more excited about lunch/dinner time. I highly encourage moms to read books about all types of foods, fruits & veggies at an early age. Once they familiarize themselves with some foods & veggies, have them help out pick out the veggies they’d like to try. I feel like my son got really excited about seeing the same veggies from the book in real life, and encouraged him to try them. We as parents also set examples for our children, so if I had to snack on a big bowl of veggies instead of eating unhealthy snacks while watching a movie just so my son can see that they’re delicious, I’d do it any day. Thanks for everything you do Tina, i appreciate the time you take to do little things like these for your followers! Btw, I’m from Los Angeles, California
