UPDATE: This Giveaway is now over! Winner announcement has been posted on my homepage. See more Giveaways being dropped on my blog here.
My son Ryan is kind of a picky eater (he takes after my husband, Mr FSF ). While my daughter Sophie isn’t a picky eater, she would start to mimic her brother’s behaviors (and verbal complaints), and before you know it, meal times can turn into a battle of wills. Me vs them. And it usually ends in tears.
Then last year I discovered these plates made by Fred & Friends called “Dinner Winner“. They are designed to encourage kids to finish their food. If you follow me on SnapChat, you may have seen me use these plates when preparing meals for my kids.
I LOVE these trays! They are so fun and colorful. Each tray is set up like a little board game, where you follow a “map” of food to a ” hidden treasure”. When you finish the trail of food, the last placement is a covered spot for a hidden treat. This is your “bait”. #Genius!
The first day I brought these plates out, they were an instant hit! And they really did motivate both my kiddos to finish their food, including things they didn’t like. I’ve since gotten these trays in pretty much every pattern . They really do make mealtime more fun, and can motivate and encourage picky eaters to finish their meals (and even try new things). I typically put a little piece of chocolate in the treat spot and that does the trick.
Anyway, it’s been a lot of fun preparing their meals and watching them use these trays. If you have a fussy eater, or you just want to add some fun into meal time, I recommend checking these plates out. They come in 5 different patterns.

I would love this for my 3 year old daughter. She was a really good eater, would try anything I made her and she would either tell me she loved it or hated it. But within the last few months everything that she liked and would eat a lot of, is now “ugh its gross” I try to bribe her with sweets after shes done but that doesn’t work. She loves playing games and little challenges so I feel this might help us with getting her to eat like she used to!
I’m reading from Chicago, IL. This would be great for my daughter! I can’t complain, she loves her veggies, especially broccoli and cucumbers. This would make mealtimes way more interesting for her.
Autumn is 3 and she, too, is a picky eater. August is 1 and he would have so much fun opening the “treasure” at the end. Greetings from Elk Grove, CA!
I would love this for my 3 year old. He may be vegan because only thing he eats are fruits and sometime veggies. It’s so hard to get him to eat protein. I try to introduce a piece of chicken but he skips straight to the fruit on his plate or if there is no fruit he just stares at his plate. This tray would be perfect for him as an addition for fun with dinner time. Oh and the treat at the end. Awesome, because he loves rewards!

OMG! I need those plates in my life! My daughter is turning 4 at the end of September and she is super stubborn and picky with food. One thing that sometime works is having a competition to see who would finish their meal first. She would compete with her little brother, who is only 7 months old and only eats baby food. He, on the other hand, loves everything so far. I hope he doesn’t become like her sister.
Los Angeles, CA
I think this would be great for my 4 year old turning 5 in 2 weeks he is such a picky eater and this is such a fun way to get them to eat everything I’ve never seen before super excited for this giveaway I’m from Madera CA
I would love to win this for my niece who is definitely a picky eater. Her favorite food is noodles. Houston, Texas
I love this post! I really need these plates for my kids! One is very picky with his vegetables. And I struggle to get him to eat. I like seeing your snack and food ideas for kids especially lunch ideas. Sometimes I don’t know what to put in their lunch bags! I love your blog! Thank you for the ideas! Hello!
I want to win this for my son. He is a very picky eater. Maybe with this plate, I can get him to eat more food. The only vegetable, he eats is steamed broccoli. I dread dinner time.
Long Beach, CA
I would like to win this for my 63 yr old coworker’s grandson, Austin whom she is raising . He is 6 and also has autism and adhd. She tells me how picky he is when it comes to getting him to eat. She has his special ‘just for him ‘food faves on hand at all times. And I think this would help her introduce new foods to him. He smells food first to decide if he wants it or not and will say “no that’s sick” which is cute lol I am writing to you from Fort Yates ND.i follow you everywhere appreciate all you do for your viewers!
Awww. My son also has Autism and ADHD. I originally got this for him. It’s really helped. He likes using this plate even with food he lives. Kids on the spectrum really craves structure like this. Thank you for sharing your story! Have a great weekend Daphne!
