UPDATE: This Giveaway is now over! Winner announcement has been posted on my homepage. See more Giveaways being dropped on my blog here.
My son Ryan is kind of a picky eater (he takes after my husband, Mr FSF ). While my daughter Sophie isn’t a picky eater, she would start to mimic her brother’s behaviors (and verbal complaints), and before you know it, meal times can turn into a battle of wills. Me vs them. And it usually ends in tears.
Then last year I discovered these plates made by Fred & Friends called “Dinner Winner“. They are designed to encourage kids to finish their food. If you follow me on SnapChat, you may have seen me use these plates when preparing meals for my kids.
I LOVE these trays! They are so fun and colorful. Each tray is set up like a little board game, where you follow a “map” of food to a ” hidden treasure”. When you finish the trail of food, the last placement is a covered spot for a hidden treat.  This is your “bait”. #Genius!
The first day I brought these plates out, they were an instant hit! And they really did motivate both my kiddos to finish their food, including things they didn’t like. I’ve since gotten these trays in pretty much every pattern . They really do make mealtime more fun, and can motivate and encourage picky eaters to finish their meals (and even try new things). I typically put a little piece of chocolate in the treat spot and that does the trick.
Anyway, it’s been a lot of fun preparing their meals and watching them use these trays. If you have a fussy eater, or you just want to add some fun into meal time, I recommend checking these plates out. They come in 5 different patterns.

I would like this for my 2 year old and for my niece. When it comes to food we struggle with both of them to finish their food and I think this would help solve that problem.
Hello Iâm messaging in from Puyallup Washington. Iâm so glad I saw your post Iâve been struggling with my two-year-old for what feels like forever. She is such a picky eater even when it comes to things that I know she absolutely loves. I think this plate would really help her at the dinner table (& me ) .
Eventually this plate will get passed down to her brother which I hope isnât as picky of a eater . Either way, this could still encourage funeating for both of them. Thank you so much for the giveaway and considering our family for this gift!
My daughter and son are such picky eaters. Im always trying to find new and fun ways to serve their food. This is the first time seeing these trays and i think they will enjoy these . These will be added to my wish list
My 7yr old is a dream when it comes to eating veggies but my 4yr old is the complete opposite . If itâs not plain chicken and white rice, heâs not eating it! Sometimes I can convince him to eat pasta with butter and when I do , I stuff penne pasta noodles with peas (sooooo tedious but a mommas gotta do what a mommas gotta do ââď¸). Heâs also the slowest eater! These plates are genius! Thank you for sharing âşď¸
I have a 5 years old and I’ve been struggling with veggies, she loves cuban food! Black beans, rice and chicken! We cook every day at home, and now with school I try to give her in the mornings and after school good and healthy food, obviously we have to offer her a treat if she finish everything, she doesnt like the food at school so I always pack her lunch… The inly fast food that she likes is pizza and she also loves chick Fil-A… We live in West Palm Beach, Fl
My 2 and 3 year old boys are picky eaters! I almost always have to bribe them both each time to finish their meals, so frustrating as a parent. I feel that my youngest one isnât really a picky eater but he just likes to copy his brother. This will def be put to good use!
My niece is all about rewards and prizes but yet meal time is still so hard. My sister is so busy plus expecting another baby that I wish I could make her life easier and getting her little to eat would be an amazing start!
My 18 month old is suddenly the most picky eater! She doesn’t want her food to touch and only feels like eating on her schedule! She will always go for any type of cheese though! Reading from okc, ok!
What a cool useful tool to get a pickup eater to eat!! My 4 year old is such a slow slow picky eater!! Makes eating time so stressful. Even if it’s food she likes, she just gets so easily distracted! I can see how this would keep her in tuned with her food because she’s into surprise things and with the surprise treat at the end she’s bound to finish her plate!! She can eat pizza all day long but that’s not a healthy dish every day (some can only wish, right!?!?)
I have a 3 year old that doesnât like to eat food she is really picky i usually tell her to eat her food then i will give her a surprise which i usually give her a small chocolate or some type of candy thats the only way she will eat. I know she will enjoy this plate she will be excited to open the treasure box so she would have to eat her food first to get to the treasure box đ
