UPDATE: This Giveaway is now over! Winner announcement has been posted on my homepage. See more Giveaways being dropped on my blog here.
My son Ryan is kind of a picky eater (he takes after my husband, Mr FSF ). While my daughter Sophie isn’t a picky eater, she would start to mimic her brother’s behaviors (and verbal complaints), and before you know it, meal times can turn into a battle of wills. Me vs them. And it usually ends in tears.
Then last year I discovered these plates made by Fred & Friends called “Dinner Winner“. They are designed to encourage kids to finish their food. If you follow me on SnapChat, you may have seen me use these plates when preparing meals for my kids.
I LOVE these trays! They are so fun and colorful. Each tray is set up like a little board game, where you follow a “map” of food to a ” hidden treasure”. When you finish the trail of food, the last placement is a covered spot for a hidden treat. This is your “bait”. #Genius!
The first day I brought these plates out, they were an instant hit! And they really did motivate both my kiddos to finish their food, including things they didn’t like. I’ve since gotten these trays in pretty much every pattern . They really do make mealtime more fun, and can motivate and encourage picky eaters to finish their meals (and even try new things). I typically put a little piece of chocolate in the treat spot and that does the trick.
Anyway, it’s been a lot of fun preparing their meals and watching them use these trays. If you have a fussy eater, or you just want to add some fun into meal time, I recommend checking these plates out. They come in 5 different patterns.

I want to win this for my little brother who is a really picky eater and loves mashed potatoes and chicken I live in Long Island New York
Hello, I am entering for my daughter Anette. She is 7 years old and is not a picky eater and for the most part is involved in what she wants to eat. I have seen you speak about these plates on other social media platforms and I think these are really fun. My daughter really likes everything and is brave when it comes to trying new foods. She is currently really enjoying Poke meals. She doesn’t pick out raw fish, but it is a plus that she enjoys a different way of fish and vegetables.
My reasoning for entering is to be able to use this plate to make our dinner meal time more enjoyable. She is in 2nd grade and also attends an after school program which leaves little time to really hang out with her. I would like to have dinner time be less of a “chore” and more of a bonding experience. I feel this plate could be a tool to be able to create a fun game out of a meal time instead of simply eating together.
I am from Los Angeles, California.
Thank You
Im entering for my 4 year old son. He’s a very picky eater and sometimes I’ll fight with him other times I’ll just give in and give him what he wants. One thing i learned that sometimes works for him is trading more time on his tablet or outside on the playground for clearing his plate. Thanks for informing me about these plates. Even if i dont win im going look into buying some. Im commenting from Jacksonville,FL.
