I agree to tipping. Gross and unsanitary for spitting on food or dropping it on the floor and reserving uneaten food to someone else. It’s like the people licking the ice cream and putting it back in store freezer for someone else to purchase. What happened to quality, reputable service. It’s almost to the point, you don’t have to piss someone off, for others to be hurtful. So much evil these days.
Just remember, that even if you end up getting something for free or even at a discount at a full-service restaurant, you should always tip the normal 15-20 percent of the original bill. That way you don’t end up with spit (or worse) in your food. You should always remind people of this in your posts since sometimes couponers are so thrilled with saving money that they cannot fathom leaving $3-$4 for a tip even when they are getting a meal for free. I love the posts and read them everyday but there is a difference between saving money and being a major cheapass that screws other people in the name of getting something for free.
Hey Amber! You’re totally right! And when I did this deal on my Birthday, I absolutely tipped as if I bought it full price. And the youtube video I made on B-day freebies, I explicitly said to remember to tip your waiter as well.
