i got an email this morning saying they were adding 98 MILLION new songs to the amazon music benefit for prime members!
Not a huge fan of shuffling random music into albums I was able to listen to on their own before this 🙁 wish the shuffle was only for additional music added
Can you pick genre of music? Alternative, rock, country, etc.?
Hey Kate! From what I found online, the new feature will shuffle-play any artist, album, or playlist, and stream a collection of playlists tailored to your listening preferences on demand. I am not entirely sure if you will be able to pick a genre, but you will definitely be getting similar music on the shuffle. Hope that helps!

Hey Victoria! The catch here is that you’ll have to listen in shuffle mode, so that is one of the disadvantages of listening to free music on Amazon. If you don’t prefer that, you’ll probably still want to keep your Amazon Music Unlimited membership. Hope that helps.
