On November 11th, Veterans Day, members of a military force and their close ones will have a chance to visit National Parks for FREE! US military veterans and Gold Star Families will be able to receive FREE access to more than 2,000 places – forests, national parks, and wildlife refuges! This opportunity is available for all people with disabilities as well.
Veterans who would like to enjoy this opportunity are expected to have one of the following forms of identification with themselves:
- Department of Defense ID Card (non-expired CAC Card)
- Veteran Health ID Card (VHIC)
- Veteran ID Card
- Veterans designation on a state-issued US driver’s license or ID Card

I’m not sure if you know by if your a veteran and have any sort of disability rating you can get a national park pass to get into free! We got our on the national seashore when we found out about it!!
