They used to go for only $20 on Black Friday so I would pick a few up. They are great but will burn out if they are used continuously without proper maintenance. If you are going to keep it running, make sure you blow out all the dust that will inevitably end up in the little fan. Keep the back area completely clear to allow airflow. Keep the inside clear of any ice that forms. Please note that these do blow out warm/hot air from the outside vents so keep that in mind when considering where you are keeping it. Typically the back half of the inside will stay coolest. Keep in mind that the warmer the room is where this is kept, the less efficient it will be at cooling.

this is exactly what I’m think for my desk at work.
If you donāt mind being a little extra, you can always put a little mini desk fan on full blast next to it. Just have it blowing the heat away from the unit to keep it running cooler inside. Though that spreads the heat around the office, which might not be so pleasant while you work. I still stock up on these for gifts and switch them out when they eventually die after a couple years. Each of my furry friends has their own for their little living spaces. Those are the ones that break fastest becauseā¦ fur. These fridges are great for the car as well!
