My favorite Thanksgiving memory is a little bit of a fail but laugh-worthy! The first year my parents hosted Thanksgiving at our house, my immigrant mother didn’t make a turkey- she made chicken instead. She said it was fine because turkey and chickens are “sisters” LOL. Gotta love moms!

My favorite memory was in 2009 it was our first Thanksgiving in our new home I was 6 months pregnant with my second son. We didnt have much we were only there two months. The memories are special because it was my last Thanksgiving with my mom she passed away the following year. She brought so much joy and happiness when she was around. She was so proud of me buying my first home I was so happy to have shared that moment with her and the rest of my family.
