My favorite thanksgiving memory is my Jamaican family failing miserably at trying to make turkey…each and every year. A for effort!
My Thanksgiving memory is spending time with family, friends, enjoying food, laughing and talking about good old times. Seeing little ones playing get along and not thinking about working or stressing just enjoying each other’s company. Also all of us taking a moment to pray as a family before we eat. Be thankful that we are all here together as a family. This year things have changed I won’t be sending time with family. I know this is going to hurt not only me but my kids as well.

My favorite holiday memory is helping my sister and kids make over 12 dozen tamales. We spent 2 days making them in shifts and coming u with our own recipes likes bacon, potatoe and cheese, so delicious perfect for breakfast time.

Favorite memory from our first ever thanksgiving as host for our whole family. We didn’t know how to bake a turkey so my dad, mom, and I tried to figure out how to. Took us more than 5 hrs to make it. At the end it tasted okay but very dry. But the time we spent together laughing and joking about how dry our turkey turned out is priceless. Years later we still laugh and remember.

My favorite Thanksgiving memory is eating lots of great food surrounded by family. I’m reading from Fontana, Ca.
My favorite memory about Thanksgiving is being in the kitchen with all my aunts, cooking, baking and gossiping. I spent time during my childhood in foster homes and always missed my family most during the holidays. Once I was finally home for good I cherished those moments so much more. (Salinas, CA)
