Hello! I’m Stephanie from Anaheim, California!
My favorite Thanksgiving memory is last year actually! My best fiend and I always do a Thanksgiving together with all of
Our family and friends. Well we decided to make a lemon meringue pie! One pie using store bought lemons and one using home grown lemons. The recipe we were using did not specify how much lemon juice to use just said the juice of one lemon. Well…. a juice from one store bought lemon and one homegrown lemon is very different. Lemons from the store are generally very small compared to ones from your backyard tree. Well we did not try the pie before hand (who does that? Lol). So we all eat our fabulous Thanksgiving dinner, Turkey, smoked turkey, trip-trip, mashed potatoes and gravy, stuffing, you name it, it was there! Lol After our food settled some it was time for some desert! Oh my goodness our 100% homemade lemon meringue pie was so tart everyone who ate it faces puckered. For the ones we didn’t like lemon meringue pie normally we made them try it just to see their facial expressions. It was the funniest and best Thanksgiving yet. Even though it was an extremely tart pie, it was still all gone! I think we just love each so much and wanted to keep the funny faces going. Plus there was a lot of us to go around to, to have them try it.

Thank you!
My favorite Thanksgiving memory is any of them with my grandmother. She passed when I was 13. She was a fabulous cook and made the best pecan pie!
We live on Mountain Home AFB in Idaho!
I can still hear the cranberries popping as I churned the handle of the meat grinder to make homemade cranberry relish for Thanksgiving when I was a child. It’s been many years since I did that, but memories of being together and prepping for our large family feast hold a special place for me.
All time favorite memory is sitting at moms dinner table enjoying her homemade gibblett gravy, we would all drown our thanksgiving turkey, stuffing etc with this gravy, we always eat at 12:00pm so after that we’d be in our pajamas stretchy pants and enjoy round 2, 3, at the table enjoying each other’s company and waiting for the cowboys to play football. All the mean while it’s a free for all at the table. Loved it ❤️ This Misty from San Antonio Texas
