Walmart customers who sign up for a paid Walmart+ membership can enjoy early access to both Walmart Black Friday deals and Cyber Monday deals. This year members get early access 3 hours before the rush!

Right now they are offering 50% off of the annual Walmart+ membership which is $98 a year and you would pay just $49 (that’s only $4 a month!) or try it free for 30 days!

Walmart Extended Return Policy

Typically, Walmart offers a 90-day return policy for most items bought in-store or online with a valid receipt. Electronics, however, come with a 30-day return window. During last year’s holiday season, we saw them extend this policy: Anything purchased in-store or online (excluding third-party sellers) from November 1st to December 25th could be returned within 90 days, starting from December 26th.

This effectively gave you up to 120 days to return most items. This matters because during Walmart Black Friday, if you find a better deal elsewhere or the price drops at Walmart, you can either return the item for a refund or repurchase it at a lower price. Be cautious not to overuse this, as Walmart may reject excessive returns. For more info, click here.

Will Walmart be closed on Thanksgiving?

This year, as usual, Walmart will be closed for Thanksgiving 2023, which was confirmed by their CEO on Twitter/X. You’ll still be able to shop online all day! See our article about this topic and a list of other stores that we are predicting to be closed this year.

Return your Walmart Black Friday online order for free by mail

Walmart now also offers several convenient options for returns. For most online purchases, you can initiate the free return process by logging into your account and obtaining a free prepaid shipping label from Walmart. Make sure to include all the original packaging and accessories, then drop it off at the post office.

Additionally, select items bough online are eligible for free scheduled pickup from your home. If you’d rather return your purchase in-store, consider using Mobile Express Returns to bypass the holiday return lines at Walmart. Keep in mind that in-store purchases must be returned in-store.

No Price Matching on Any Walmart Black Friday Deal

Unfortunately, price matching during Black Friday at Walmart won’t be available. For anything you want price-matched, you will have to do it even before the pre-sales start or after Black Friday.

Affirm Layaway Program

There is also an option for you to buy now, pay later on all your favorite items from Walmart. In 2021, Walmart teamed up with Affirm, a buy now, pay later (BNPL) service company which allows you to take your stuff right away, but with 10% – 30% interest rates, so this might not be the best option if you’re really trying to save some money.
