This was my favorite video to make (so far), because this topic is at the heart of what Free Stuff Finder was about when it was first started in 2006 — way before we ventured into couponing and online deals. I hope you enjoy the video.

Here are the resource links of tools I mentioned in the video:
- Gmail – Get a Free Email Account and use it just for your freebie hunting. I recommend and love gmail. Never use your personal every-day email address when signing up for freebies â unless you love spam!
- Google Voice – If you already have a gmail account, you can sign in with your gmail account to get setup. Or if you are new to gmail or google accounts, you can sign up here. With google voice, you can get a Free phone number in your local area code. The phone number can accept calls, receive voice mails and text messages. Never fill out an online form with your real number. Also great for that creepy guy that keeps asking for your number.
- RoboForm – You can read more about and download RoboForm here. It was designed to be a password manager, with plugins for your web browser. But it has auto fill feature to fill in commonly used web fields.
- LastPass – LastPass is an alternative to RoboForm. Another very cool password manager with browser plugins, and can help to fill out forms faster.
- Sign up for a lot of offers – Since not every offer will deliver, signing up for as many offers as possible will increase your chances. We do our best to filter out offers and only post ones we believe will deliver.
- Be patient – Most freebies take a long time to deliver, sometimes up to 8 weeks or longer. I didnât start receiving a flow of free stuff into my mailbox until 2-3 months after I started signing up for stuff.
- Expectations – Expect nothing, so that when you receive something in the mail, youâll be surprised and thankful. Having no expectation has made freebie hunting much more fun and exciting for me. Going to the mailbox (once a week) has been a bit like Christmas. đ

Hi Tracy! Free Samples by mail are tricky in that they arenât always 100%. From my experience of signing up for Free samples by mail for 10 years is that they come about 40% of the times. So I recommend signing up to them and forgetting about it. Then if something shows up, itâll be a nice surprise. And of course, the more you sign up to the more youâll receive as a result. âSet it and forget itâ. đ Hope that helps!

I really liked the video. it’s very informative and I learned a lot! I have done many freebie sites and none of them ever panned out, matter fact I’ve been scammed many times because some of them had me signing up for membership’s without my knowledge until I start getting charged from them!
