UPDATE: This Giveaway is now over! Winner announcement has been posted on my homepage. See more Giveaways being dropped on my blog here.
I don’t know about you, but opening a brand new jar of pickles or pasta sauce has always been a pain point for me. If my husband isn’t home and I can’t get it to open, then I usually have to put the jar back. No pickles for you!
I’ve tried different techniques and anecdotal hacks to opening a jar: tapping the jar lid with a spoon, running the lid under hot water, tapping the back of the jar violently hoping to break the vacuum seal, and of course, using brute force. Sometimes I’ll do everything, until the dang jar opens. Usually it works. But sometimes it doesn’t. And I’m usually left in a sweaty mess after wrestling with a jar.
Life is too short to feel frustrated at the sight of a jar.
Enter Robo Twist! My relationship with all vacuum sealed jars has forever changed since I discovered the magical prowess of the Robo Twist. I didn’t think I could love a kitchen gadget as much as I do with this. It’s like having a boyfriend with you in the kitchen at all times, lending “his” strong arms with any jar that tickles your cravings. Big jars or little jars. Square jars or round jars! He can handle it all!
I’m embarrassed to admit that I did learn about it from an infomercial on TV late one night. And I was super skeptical (as one would with such commercials seen on TV). After some digging around, and despite some low star reviews, I ordered one on Amazon (it was cheaper than the TV offer and had free prime shipping).
The rest is history. Opening a jar now is a fun, effortless and satisfying experience that leaves me smiling… and sometimes jiggling at how easy it is. I used it last night, and it made me feel happy.
I made a quick 16-second video for ya when my “boyfriend” opened a jar of pasta sauce. You can watch it here. You can also see their TV commercial in the listing page on Amazon. I know these commercials can feel sleazy and over-promising. I feel the resistance to believe it too. But It really does work as easily as the commercial. Really.
It would also make an inexpensive and useful gift idea. Especially with the holidays just around the corner. Keep this in mind. You can get it here.

I was told by a Walmart employee that The Johnson and Johnson creamy oil works to repell mosquitos, even though it’s not advertised as such. I rubbed a generous amount on my son and it worked. Results may vary but it has worked for my little one on many occasions.

Thank you for sharing this gadget with us. It may seem unconventional for many that can just tap the side on the counter, but such a simple task may not be done by all. My mother has arthritis and would benefit greatly.

My favorite tool in the kitchen is using my air fryer. Perfect for preparing a meal just for me. I.would use the Robo Twist because I broke my back earlier this year and now my shoulder isn’t working. I plan dinners around who stops over to open my jars.
Thank you for the opportunity to win this Robo Twist. I am obsessed with gadgets anything technology I have to have. In the past few months I have ordered the ring doorbell, the nest thermostat, Alexa, security cameras, and 2 weeks ago I got the automatic door lock. My Husband says he feels like he’s under surveillance lol. I told him the door locks are the last item I will get until you post the next goodies in my sneaky voice.

Thank you
My electric can opener is currently one of my favorite things I own (it has been about 3 weeks of pain free opening over here!). I had two surgeries on my labrum, leaving me with 5 anchors in my shoulder. I constantly have pain, weakness, and numbness down my arm and in my hand due to this. I have a limited range of motion and cannot hold more than 3lbs (it is also my dominate hand and I have a 9yr old and 7month old!). It would take close to 10 minutes to painfully open a can. This gadget here would alleviate much of the stress and pain I feel while in the kitchen!
I also am obsessed with my air fryer..I kept telling my sister-in-law everything I was making in it and she went and got one! Now I just have to try the instant pot I bought in July (Iâm thinking this will become a favorite too once I actually use it!).
One of my favorite tips Iâve recent learned is how to get grease off the oven grills. Soak in hot water inside the tub with dawn dish soap. Leave for 30 mins and scrub with a small brush from the dollar tree. Watch the grease come right off. Reading from Brooklyn New York.
My favorite kitchen gadget is the apple corer. It makes getting apple slices so easy, and I love apples lol… I’m reading from Merced, Ca.
My fave is the hot water dispenser. I can’t imagine living without it. Hot water is always ready for drinks or instant noodles.
My favorite kitchen gadget is a strainer or collander. I never had one growing up. I didnt even realize they existed LOL. And when I realized they did, I always wanted one! We have one now and I love it. May sound weird but it makes cooking pasta and draining meat etc so much easier!

My favorite kitchen gadget is my Vitamix! It was a clearance find and when you love smoothies like I do it is a godsend!

One of my frustrations is opening up bottles. My daughter and I have arthritis and easy daily tasks for a normal healthy person are sometimes hard for us to do. We struggle opening jars, water bottles and anything with a tight seal. Thank you for sharing this gadget!
