It finally worked!! So while on the Amazon app the price is $9.99 and the promo code doesn’t work but using my browser instead it worked perfectly. The price is $6.99 and I was able to use the promo code!!
It’s $9.99 now and it won’t let me put the code cuz it’s not $19.99 no more

There are more seller with the same product but different prices, that’s why, you have to scroll down and check “more offers “ from this listing and take the right seller, then the promo will works, in an Amazon seller was easy to understand why this was happening 😁
Mine also said $9.99 as sale price. I also tried the option on the side where it says “New” from other sellers. Then I selected the price that says $6.99 and it worked with the coupon!
That happened to me, was because that’s not the seller who is selling with the promo code, check there is 4 people selling the same product and the one which have the promo code is the one with the $6 price , just add to your cart the $6 one and apply the promo code and will works , remember delete from your cart the $9 one . You welcome
You have to change the vendor I had the same issue but when I switched to the vendor selling for $6.99 the code worked
Look under the add to registry button you should see one for 6.99 that one should work for you I had the same issue you had but then found that bypass
