Anything with peanut butter.
If There is one cookout food I would eat for the rest of my life it’s Dawali ( stuffed grape leaves), It is absolutely delicious! It’s basically grape leaves stuffed with rice, a little amount of ground beef, with tomato and seasoning. You fill them up and roll them but not to tight. We like to add some tomato, and potatoes slice also some garlic at the bottom of the pot. Enjoy!
favorite cookout foods are buffalo chicken dip and burgers!
My favorite cookout food is cheeseburgers, nice and easy!
I make baked beans…it’s a recipe handed down..I get asked to make them for every event I’m invited too! lol
I love to cook shrimp is so yummy 😋
Potato Salad & BBQ teriyaki chicken
My favourite picnic dish is chicken tandoori it fun to make with family and goes well with some drinks. Here’s the recipe.
Items required:
Plain yogurt
Lemon juice
Onion powder
Minced garlic
Garam masala
Paprika
Coriander
Cumin
Ginger
Cayenne pepper
Kosher salt
Cilantro leaves
Cooked basmati rice, for serving
At home prep
Make marinade. In a mixing bowl, combine all the marinade ingredients, then whisk until smooth.
Marinate the chicken. Add in the chicken and stir until evenly coated on all sides. Allow the chicken to marinate for at least 1 hour or up to overnight in the fridge.
At the venue
Bring to room temperature. Before cooking the chicken, take it out of the fridge and allow it to get to room temp, about 30 min should be enough.
Cook. Heat a large heavy-bottom pan or a grill over medium-low heat. Lightly oil to prevent the chicken from sticking. Cook the chicken for 6 minutes per side, or until cooked through.
Serve. Serve the tandoori chicken recipe over cooked basmati rice with cilantro, lemon wedges and green chutney for the authentic Indian taste.
