Nestlé is recalling its Toll House Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Bar because of the possible presence of wood fragments. The recall includes Toll House Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough with batch codes 311457531K and 311557534K, and having a best-by date of August 22nd, 2023, and October 23rd, 2023 respectively.
The recall was announced by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. Also, this recall is limited to the two batches of the Toll House Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough “break and bake” Bar that was produced on April 24th and April 25th. Consumers who purchased the affected cookie dough bars are asked to not eat it but return the product to the store it was purchased and get a replacement or refund.
Please note that the recall does not include other products and varieties of refrigerated cookie dough in “break and bake” bars, rolls, tubs, or Edible cookie dough.
