Target shoppers, take note: their price match policy has changed for 2024! While the year-round price match is still in place, there are key updates to be aware of, especially if you love finding the best deals. Here’s what’s new and how to use the updated policy.
Who Does Target Price Match?
For 2024, Target has simplified its list of price-match competitors to just two retailers: Amazon and Walmart. This is a big change from their previous policy, which accepted price matches from up to 29 different competitors. If you find a lower price at either Amazon or Walmart, Target will match it – just make sure the item meets their criteria.
How to Request a Price Match
Requesting a price match is simple and can be done either during your purchase or within 14 days after purchase. Here’s what you need to do:
- In-Store: Show proof of the lower price at Guest Services.
- Online: Contact Target’s Guest Services at 1-800-591-3869.
The item must be identical in every way (brand, size, color, model, etc.), and the lower price must be available and in stock at the time of the request.
