Free Canister Designs from Folgers

Here’s a great idea to turn that empty coffee container into something useful. You can Design Your Own Canister with Folgers. All you need is a canister, printer, peel and stick paper (you can use regular paper and glue, but sticky paper works better), and scissors. Just click the “Get Started” button and start designing. They have a lot of designs to pick from or you can design your own. You can even personalize it with a message.

These canisters are great for storing crayons, legos, Barbie clothes or accessories, buttons, sewing notions, macaroni, beans, rice, use as a piggy bank, the list could go on and on. You can also use the holiday designs and use the canisters for those Thanksgiving and Christmas goodies you bake and give away.

The templates are designed to be used with the red Folgers containers, but you could use any container that is approximately the same size.

NEW: Target Coupon Policy Update (OK to Stack Target Coupons)

Target made a NEW change to their Coupon Policy. And this time, it’s good news! 🙂 We’ve always been confused with using Target coupons on individual items (ie. $1 off Huggies Target Coupon) that also apply to a Target category coupon (ie. $10 Off $50 Baby Target Coupon). Since they are both Target coupon, people always ask if this is allowed. According to their new coupon policy Update, this is allowed! Yay!

Here’s what it says on their coupon policy:

What should I keep in mind if I want to redeem a category/department or storewide coupon?

If you’re redeeming more than one category/department or storewide coupon, you must meet purchase requirements for each coupon individually. The percent-off coupons will apply to all qualifying items in transaction. No other same category/department or storewide coupon will apply.

Target item-level coupons can be used while using a category/storewide coupon (e.g. $1 off Target coupon for body wash AND a $5 off $15 Target Personal Care purchase). The threshold for the category coupon is based on the retail of the qualified items prior to Manufacturer item-level and Target item-level coupons.

Example:

OK to Use $1.00 Off Huggies Target coupon and $10 off $50 Baby Category Target Coupon together.

How to Get Free Stuff Online (NEW VIDEO!)

This was my favorite video to make (so far), because this topic is at the heart of what Free Stuff Finder was about when it was first started in 2006 — way before we ventured into couponing and online deals. I hope you enjoy the video.

How to Get Free Stuff Summary:

Here are the resource links of tools I mentioned in the video:

Gmail – Get a Free Email Account and use it just for your freebie hunting. I recommend and love gmail. Never use your personal every-day email address when signing up for freebies – unless you love spam!
Google Voice – If you already have a gmail account, you can sign in with your gmail account to get setup. Or if you are new to gmail or google accounts, you can sign up here. With google voice, you can get a Free phone number in your local area code. The phone number can accept calls, receive voice mails and text messages. Never fill out an online form with your real number. Also great for that creepy guy that keeps asking for your number.
RoboForm – You can read more about and download RoboForm here. It was designed to be a password manager, with plugins for your web browser. But it has auto fill feature to fill in commonly used web fields.
LastPass – LastPass is an alternative to RoboForm. Another very cool password manager with browser plugins, and can help to fill out forms faster.
Sign up for a lot of offers – Since not every offer will deliver, signing up for as many offers as possible will increase your chances. We do our best to filter out offers and only post ones we believe will deliver.
Be patient – Most freebies take a long time to deliver, sometimes up to 8 weeks or longer. I didn’t start receiving a flow of free stuff into my mailbox until 2-3 months after I started signing up for stuff.
Expectations – Expect nothing, so that when you receive something in the mail, you’ll be surprised and thankful. Having no expectation has made freebie hunting much more fun and exciting for me. Going to the mailbox (once a week) has been a bit like Christmas. 🙂
