the disk version you can put the games in even if they are PS4 games, the digital doesn’t have a space for disk. you have to buy and download games

The difference is one takes disc games and the other does not. So if your child usually purchases games in disc you you need the more expensive one. If your child purchases games from the Sony store online and downloads then the digital will be just fine.
So glad my kids aren’t into this stuff yet haha
