Heya do you have to pay a subscription for the door bell monthly/ yearly?
Hey! Here’s what I found on their site: “Ring devices don’t require a Ring Protect subscription plan. Without a subscription, you can view real-time video for Ring doorbells and security cameras and answer doorbell notifications as they happen. However, without a Ring Protect plan, you won’t get video recordings of those events.”
Like Helen said, you don’t have to have a subscription, but if you don’t have the subscription you can’t history of movement at your door. The subscription is super cheap though. I think it’s $3 a month or $30 a year. I purchased the annual subscription last year and love it. Before that I was doing monthly. It’s very convenient to have the recorded clips just in the even that someone steals a package, someone is there that isn’t supposed to be there, etc.
