Hi Katherine! Here’s what I found on their site: “You can purchase a ‘Gift of Membership’ at the register at your local Costco warehouse. Or, you can purchase it online. Your recipient will need to bring their Gift of Membership gift card to the membership counter at any Costco location. Their membership officially starts when it’s redeemed.” Hope that answers your question!

just signed up. fyi…it kept saying I couldn’t sign up right now…bla bla bla…so I called the number and after waiting on hold for 20+ mins and being told that they can’t apply the code over the phone, she told me to sign up using Chrome. I sometimes forget that changing browsers is the new power cycle fix. lol.
