Starting May 28th, Southwest Airlines will be implementing major changes to its baggage policy. They will no longer offer free checked bags to certain passengers but if you are a Rapid Rewards A-List Preferred Member or traveling on Business Select fares, you’re still eligible for two free checked bags. And if you are a Rapid Rewards Credit Card member, you’ll be credited one checked bag.
Also, they have adjusted the number of Rapid Rewards points that customers earn on qualifying flights. You can earn more points on Business Select fares but earn less on Wanna Get Away and Wanna Get Away Plus fares. To read the full details about these changes, click here!
