• T-Mobile Ending AutoPay Discount with Credit Cards – Last Chance To Switch!

Hand Holding a Phone with T-Mobile on Screen

T-Mobile users! T-Mobile has announced it will no longer accept credit cards or digital wallets for AutoPay. AutoPay is a free service that automatically deducts payments from your debit card or linked bank account and allows users on eligible plans to save $5 per line on their monthly bills.

If you’re using a credit card or digital wallet (Apple Pay/Google Pay), starting November 11th, you won’t be eligible for an AutoPay discount. If you still want to receive the discount, you will now have to pay your bills using either a linked bank account or a debit card. Otherwise, if you continue using your credit cards, you can expect a $5 increase per line to your monthly bills.

If you want to keep your T-Mobile AutoPay discount, there are still some options like getting a burner debit card or opening a T-Mobile Money account. Recently, T-Mobile has also announced their plans to shift its users from older to newer phone plans – read all about it here!

    • Have paid the prior month’s bill by its due date.
    • Cards with statements mailed to foreign addresses can’t be used for AutoPay.

    • AutoPay isn’t available for No Credit Check plans.

I’m ready to throw the whole T-Mobile away. First the plans change causing me more money now I’m not going to get my credit card points and discounts. Houston we’re about to have a problem. If you’re cutting out cc bc of their excess fees. Then we need a better discount.

TMobile needs to let us be. Credit cards should STILL be accepted. I can’t believe this.

Same! We have been loyal customers this long- this actually made me and my husband consider switching. It’s as bad as being charged to pay your rent thru a forced portal! Like that’s our bank account info and they just freely want us to share it.

      Oh well T-Mobile

I don’t understand. They already ended the discount in July.

Hey! November 11th date is on my account, so I’m thinking probably not a lot of people moved in July, and they are giving us a second chance.
