I spoke with a manager at Target in Tribeca and if the offer is not already on the app, they cannot honor it because their system won’t allow to. He showed me his account on the app and the offer was already there. He advised to contact customer service to see if they can honor it.
I contacted customer support and it’s only for a few select accounts. You can see the offer but it won’t apply unless it was sent to you directly.

Target 360 member here as well and same “Failed to apply offer” message persists. Can add the item to my cart after the error message but it wants to charge me full price

I am a Target Circle 360 Member, & this is the message that I received when I tried to apply the offer. :
“Failed to apply offer. Try refreshing the page”.
It just keeps looping in circles when you refresh the page, & my store has my item in stock.
It didn’t work for me either. I followed the instructions on the post including becoming a 360 member, but when I click apply offer, even after adding an item from the offer page to my cart, it says: failed to apply offer try refreshing the page
Darn! Hopefully, it’s only a temporary glitch. Give it another shot in a few minutes. Just a heads up, item availability can also vary by location. It’s possible that the item you were trying to get is no longer available at your selected store. You can also reach out to Target’s customer service. They should be able to provide a clearer explanation and instructions on how to get your freebie.

That’s strange. It should automatically apply at checkout after adding a qualifying item. You’re a Target Circle 360 member, right?
