I teach 1st grade, I love to teach because I love to see my little kids grow.

I love teaching ELD to students coming from all over the world. A boy said “This place is so beautiful. They just gave me a computer to do my homework and feed me lunch every day. What do I do to repay?” I was humbled to see the gratitude.

I’ve worked in special education for 8 years now. I’ve taught in an autism classroom for 6 years and I’m currently on my 2nd year in Functional Skills High School. I love working in special education because we get to celebrate the smallest victories. Just the other day, one of my nonverbal students responded back to me when I said “hello.” He said it loud it and clear, “hello” I was ecstatic to say the least!!! It’s never a dull day in my program and the kiddos always put a smile on my face 🥰

This is my 18th year teaching and I love it. Currently as a SPED teacher. My love has always been teaching new ideas, or new strategies to students who don’t have exposure or experiences provided at home. It is a very rewarding career and it would only could be done if you have the heart for it. Also my students have thought me more than anyone else. Thank you for doing this for teachers every where. Any teacher deserves a special gift!

After a few years, I decided to go back to school to get my degree while working as a preschool teacher. I love working with kids and although I am a little bit older, I want to show my students you can learn and go to school at any age!

I love being a teacher because I love being able to bring some joy to my kids’ day. My job is not only to educate them, but to love them and make them feel welcome and at home. A lot of my kids come from difficult situations, so I do everything I can to make school their home away from home. I don’t want my kids to dread school- I want them to be excited to learn and grow. I want my students to feel comfortable and relieved as soon as they walk through my door. The most rewarding thing is when I see them having fun and enjoying themselves, especially while learning. I love my kids and wouldn’t trade this job for the world!!

I knew from a very young age that I always wanted to work with kids. I went to college and obtained my bachelors in child and family Development. Through our college I worked in a child care and loved it!! I am now a lead teacher of 3 years. I adore being a big part of so many different children’s lives. My favorite part of being a teacher is forming a different connection with every child and being able to help them achieve goals for the future!

I teach middle school! I love teaching this age because they have so much personality and it’s a time in their lives when you can make a real difference. A fun memory I have is one day a student seemed to be in a bad mood so I started making up a “rap” to cheer them up. Some other students joined in adding some bars and beat boxing and we all started cracking up and having a fun time

I would absolutely love this! I love teaching my kids and it’s been my passion for awhile! I love showing these kids new things everyday and the best part is getting to know them and how they learn!

I love teaching and am missing i5 right now being on maternity leave so much. One memory of mine that I love with my students is when I was awarded teacher with the best sense of humor by the senior class that really made my day I can’t wait to be back to the classroom soon
