I love teaching because even when I canāt do it all, I know I can make an impact in someoneās life. My favorite time with my students are when they are engaged in a lesson or we get to go on an educational field trip. š
My favorite moment this year was Career Day. I have a PreK scholar who hates coming to school because he hates āworkā and just wants to play in centers all day. A firefighter came in and explained that his job used skills he learned in PreK like counting, learning his alphabet, and learning to hold a pencil to write. That little boys attitude has been forever changed! His face is bright and he now sees that school is important and āworkā gets him closer to his dreams!
I am a teacher in South Africa. I love this unique and paramount work in the country of building the future of my country and I will remain proud of this regardless of us being underpaid.
I love what they teach me everyday and I love those lightbulb moments when it finally clicks with them. I teach preschool, some of my favorite moments are when children mispronounce a word or use an alternative word to mean something it doesnāt.
Iām much newer to the teaching world, but I love being able to be near my own child and be in his environment while at the same time impacting other students lives. Itās the best when they run up to you yelling your name and give great big hugs! Or when they ask when they will get to see you again. Additionally, itās a great felling to know some students trust in me enough to confide in me. Then Iām able to try and get any help they may possibly be needing. So many different facets to teaching that I never knew!
I have been in this career for the last 16 years. It has taught me how to be a mother , counselor, nurse, educator and a friend to my second grades. I have been in the same school for my entire teacher career and I love it. The joy I feel watching my kiddos blossom during the year fills my heart with excitement. I have many special moments but the one I keep in embedded in my mind was a parent took the time to send me an email thanking for being a great teacher to her son who had special needs. It was a very emotional day. You have to love what you do to be in the education field.
I have been teaching for 4 years now. I love teaching because seeing students grow is what fuels me. The look on their faces when they grasp a concept or that “ah ha” moment is awesome. My class won for being in the top 3 classes to have the most growth in the school. That gave me the satisfaction and reassurance that I’m in the right field.
I love teaching because I can be the catalyst that inspires a child to believe in themself. With that confidence then the learning part comes easier. I love when I run into old students and they run to greet me with a smile and a warm hug.
Iāve been a teacher for 5 years and I love working with kids and seeing them grow up through the years. Being comfortable with them and being with them everyday. Donāt have to do much but always be there to support them give them the boost of confidence they need.
I have been a teacher for 12 years now–everything from K-5, 18-21 transition program, and back to incousive preschool across 2 districts. my favorite thing about teaching isbthe constant change and the ability to start fresh every year! if something doesn’t work for me or my kids m, we try something new. Thanks for thebl opportunity to win–I’ve been eyeballing a Stanley cup forever š
