I have been teaching Elementary school for 16 years. The thing about my job is that no matter how hard things in life have been my students bring a smile to my face with the happiness and joy they express.
Does it apply for teachers that worked for twenty years and then had to resign due to kidney failure ?
Hi Angela! Yes, as long as you can show a copy of your previous ID, that’ll do! Good luck!
I don’t know if I can find that but I ran across one of my certificates. Will that work
Yup! That will be just fine.
Teaching to change minds… to make them feel safe.
Love teach young children. There are countless memories of good moments and bad. But one of my favorites is when it just clicks with them and they learn something new. It makes it all worth it.
Helping students overcome obstacles and reach their goals to be successful and thrive in real life situations.
I have been teaching middle school students with Autism for 20yrs, and also lead Elementary After School program for 5yrs. With the start of each new school year, we as teachers and students are faced with new obstacles and challenges. In the Autism world, the biggest challenge we often face is communication. This challenge is usually accompanied by behaviors. Facing this challenge head on is not for the weak. I take great pride in getting to know and understand each one of my students as though they’re my own children, and work endlessly to understand and help them learn to communicate their wants and needs.
When we are able to overcome these obstacles and see the progress and impact in their lives, THAT is what makes it all worth it!
Teaching young minds is very rewarding. I love to see the children grow and develop to their fullest potential. I have been teaching for 6 years and love seeing the children’s happy faces everyday and so eager to learn. Some students come into the classroom struggling and then by the end of the school year are excelling and super excited about school now. Every day is a new learning curve for my students and for me but I love every moment of it.
I love teaching because I enjoy being an advocate for kids. I was a probation officer for many years which is why I teach criminal justice. I am able to teach something I’m passionate about and help steer great candidates to work in the criminal justice system.
I love teaching because I know I can be the adult someone needs that day that they don’t have at home. I teach high school Math, everyone’s favorite subject I know. I try to make the class fun and easy going. But I prioritize my students well being above anything else. My students all know that all they have to do it try. We celebrate any little achievement they have in my class. More importantly I love what I do because I am more than just a teacher. Sometimes I have to lend an ear and listen to the troubles in their life, or just open my classroom for them to sit and hang out for the day. Teaching is so much more than the subject. Watching them grow and develop the confidence in my class is the most rewarding part of teaching.
I teach in an autism program at the high school level. My students are a lot of fun and I love being able to prepare them for post secondary life. There are days that are challenging, but any job has moments that have stress, but I feel my job is the best.
I love my job! I not only teach children, but I get to teach the parents how to help their children to be successful in school!
I love watching my students grow into amazing members of society. I have students who have become teachers, nurses, etc… I love that they still invite me to their graduations and keep me involved with their lives.
I have the best job ever!
