I love teaching because you can make a difference in a kids life in just a year! Each day is different and kids have a great sense of humor so it makes life fun.
I love teaching because it provides me with the opportunity to bring a ray of sunshine into the lives of students who may not enjoy coming to school. Every student has their own experiences outside of the classroom but when I can get my students engaged in the lessons that I teach with the desire to want to be accountable for their own learning, I know that Iāve done my job. As many educators know, this job is far from easy but itās definitely worth it. Seeing our students capture new content or a new skillā¦ those are the moments that we live for. Even though this is only my third year, I look forward to improving my craft as an educator the benefit of the students I serve.
Hello! šš¼
Iām a middle school teacher and coach! I love teaching because I get to help the next generation GROW! Iām still a ānewbieā finishing my 4th year. Iāve taught P.E. & now teaching English. Its so rewarding to help students grow to love reading, writing or what sports their good at. Itās fun to teach/ coach sports to those just learning in 7th grade. My favorite memory is last year, at the end of the year. Our coaching staff put together a āBattle of the Coachesā tournament. We divided all the athletes into teams with each coach. Over the last month of school we competed with different games each day which then earned you points. It was a BLAST!!
I teach 6th grade science and my favorite part of the year is when we get to take our students on a fishing field trip. Seeing my kids catch their first fish ever is so fun and their faces are priceless!
My favorite memory would have to be from this year! I had the pleasure of working with my special education small class seniors and they were the ones getting their first college acceptances before the whole school. They were over joyed because they didnāt thing they could get into certain schools but the smile on their faces when they did was priceless
I have been teaching for 10 years now
All though there is days that are hard I love these kids
Do I submit my school ID here
Hey Stella! You’ll only need to provide your ID if you are selected as the winner. Until then, no worries!
I love 2 year olds and teaching them how to say new words! It’s so funny and cute to hear them.
Hi I love teaching because itās worth it . Itās worth all of it. The faces when the achieve something and when they are proud of themselves. Iām a homeschool mama I made my own curriculum because my boys have special needs so we just started this year and we are learning as we go . Thanks so much for doing this for us we appreciate you
You’re most welcome! Thank you for sharing your experience. Wishing you the best of luck!
I teach for the āah-haā moments. This is year 35 for me; Iām not quite ready to leave the profession. 4th grade is my cup of tea-they are old enough to do some things on their own, but still young enough to be honest and sincere. I love my kiddos! And teaching at a military school, Iāve learned how to help them develop their character above all. And I learn from them as well-a wonderful reciprocation.ā„ļø
